Something Has Gotta Give!

If Life Sucks, It Might Be Time to Change Yourself

People complain about a lot of things. I have heard quite a few people complain about not making a six figure income, and yet most of them would never want to work like someone who does make that much money. I think the times are long gone where some Internet genius kid can make a few million dollars with some great idea; or let’s just say that this scenario is not the most realistic for the average Joe Schmoe. Most of us have to work our butt off to make a lot. No, we don’t get to work a posh eight hour day, with little responsibility and few challenges, while making a boatload of money; unless you are grandfathered in and have been at a company that has been giving you more and more money each year, simply because you’ve been there long enough. Anyone who starts out in any role above average also has to do above average work, while holding above average responsibility and performing well! If you want the grand career, you will have to kiss your personal life good-bye and you will have to make sacrifices. Spoiled whiners need not apply!

Speaking of sacrifices, the same goes for anything worth attaining. Most people don’t reach their goals because they lack the discipline and stamina to consistently do what is required to be successful. If you want to be fit and in shape, you will have to work out and you will have to eat right. No excuses. If you want to only date highly attractive people, well, you oughta be attractive, too. If you want to be in a healthy relationship, you have to be healthy. No, none of us get to sit on our butts, while the perfect body, job and relationship just knocks on the front door. Anything above average requires above average commitment and work. Something’s gotta give and I can tell you from experience, that “something” better be you.

I am consistently amazed at people who don’t grasp this concept at all. I always thought that the stuff I am talking about is common sense. I always knew that I had to work for anything I ever wanted in life. I always knew that some things require more sacrifices and work then others and hence, would simply evaluate how bad I wanted it. And yet, a simple concept like that is missing in so many whiners I have encountered. It is rather amazing how nothing is their fault and how sitting on their behind is supposed to serve them a life like in the movies. Here’s my response: “Bzzzz… thanks for playing!”

“Take the time for an honest life review as the most significant modifications are made from the inside out.” – Faith ext. 9608

If you are out there and you want an extraordinary life, well, you better learn that you’ll have to deliver extraordinary results and work extraordinarily hard; at least until you have built the foundation. If your general excuse or reason for not doing anything is “it’s too hard,” well, then attaining greatness is going to be too hard, too! We attract what and who we are! Our life is a direct result of our actions, thoughts and words.

Something has gotta give and the something has to be you. Don’t want to change? Well, better stop complaining and realize that “this” is as good as it gets.

Oh, and Gina Rose, your “Virgoness” shines through 😉

Yes, the reason that I haven’t honed much of my ability is because I stopped meditating. However, it’s never too late to start it up again! So, thanks for the reminder!

Well, I think you all 😀 It is my defining characteristic to “tell it as it is,” without sugarcoating. This is what got me my “fans” and this is why some people really hate me, haha.

But, honestly, it is always coming from the best place in my heart and from a very strong aspiration to truly help people. So thank you, to those who get it and do not get offended by my straight forward love.

“Change”everyone deserve change in their life. Not all people succeed in where they wanted to be.Eienstien gave birth to many realistic theories that changed the shape of the globe and he gave birth to many fellows on the process, but in reality if he had refused hard work and dedication,he would have been just an Eienstien around a small circle but not around the circumferance of the globe. And all people who are known to be great hold the same truth as Eienstien.Taking risk needs enough knowledge and and to have enough knowledge one must do hard work with dedication and full committment. Not all paths that u travel are expected to be paved with sucess, sometimes u need to travel around the curves, confusing paths and full of thorns and paths paved with failures and the outcomes will be astonishing…..

    Hi Tracy,

Not at all, personally speaking, and in fact,……
…. I’d do it all over again because the sacrifices I made were well worth the achievements and goals.

you know what came to mind as I read this article (?)…..over the past 30 years I’ve tested and trained budding psychics…..many of them tell me that they want to ” be me “….but are not willing to put in the work, time or effort. And while I’m flattered, it does me no good to try to train them if they aren’t willing to give it 100%…..

for example , I start out by requiring my students to learn how to go into deep meditation and get into the DAILY routine of meditation, because it helps with their focus, clarity and stamina needed to give quality readings and is an integral part in honing their skills…..
…but many seem to want to skip the basic steps, and I hear excuses and whining instead…. so…..I flat out stopped training people that won’t meditate. They may not care about wasting their time, but they most certainly will not waste my time. I will train anybody I see that is putting in the work and consistent effort, but I will not have my time wasted by excuses, whining, or passive/aggresive behavior and those that feel entitled.

I meditate twice daily….an hour each time….rain or shine, sick or tired, holidays or not,….and I eat right, get at least 8 to 10 hours sleep per day because that is what I need to perform well and give good readings ( especially since I use no tools ).

Sure there are MANY beautiful days when I would rather be outside playing or doing other things, but I know I need to be consistent and keep myself in top shape.

You only get out of a career, or any endeavor for that matter, what you are willing to put into . You can do anything you want to,achieve anything you desire, but you really need to want it BAD enough and go after it and give it your consistent BEST.

STELLAR ARTICLE !!!!!!! I LOVED this article…..and it’s ALL true!

Whether it’s THIS profession ( the psychic field ) or any other career field…it takes hard work, dedication, and perserverance , over a period of time, to really ” make it ” and succeed in an above average way.

LOVED this article, Carmen….way to go !

    Blessed Be )O(
