Change Your Career Karma

What’s Really Blocking Your Success?

Could it be Karma?

Are you destined to have a crumby job with no hope of promotion or at least a pay raise? Is it karma you’re dealing with or are you getting in the way of your own career success? There can be a million reasons why your career is either shining, stuck in a puddle of mud, or even non-existent. Put all of those reasons aside for a minute and take a sideways look at your career.

Karma may be written in the stars but there are no rules saying you can’t work to change it. In fact, karma is all about bringing yourself to that next level. But whether it’s karma or not that’s playing a role in your life, it still pays to work on improving your career karma and thereby improving your situation. Psychic Paige ext. 9158 has the tools you need to improve your career karma and take yourself to the next level. Help is only a call away!

Try these tips to improve your career karma:

1. Start a side business doing something you’re passionate about.

If you are doing something you like at least part of the time, then it may make going to your regular 9 to 5 less miserable.

2. Change your attitude toward your current situation.

Look for the positive in your situation. Be thankful that you have a job and money to pay your bills and put food on your family’s table. A lot of people are out of work these days.

3. Volunteer your time to a worthy cause.

If you find yourself lacking motivation at a dead-end job, or worse, lacking employment at all, one way you can work on your career karma is to volunteer at a library reading to kids, work at a soup kitchen helping other less fortunate than you, or just visiting with the elderly at a rest home. Offer to do a job that others get paid for, even part-time. Volunteering will make you feel good about yourself. You’ll obtain that elusive, fulfilling feeling of having done something meaningful and you’ll be banking some good karma as well.

Volunteering can also build your resume as well as your career karma. Future employers will see you as a dedicated person with a passion. See each moment as an opportunity. You’ll build your self-esteem and you may even start to see yourself as a person that you never dreamed might exist.

Could it be You?

Let’s entertain the idea (just for a minute) that you are the reason you’re career-stuck. Could fear of change be crippling your chances for career success? Fear is everywhere these days. We’re afraid the economy will continue on a negative downturn and we fear for our future. Negative images bombard us daily by way of the media and then there are those daunting unemployment figures. While it’s great to stay informed, you’re better off ignoring all of that bad news. Thinking negatively can only get you negative results. Yes, a poor economy is a reality but you can be the phoenix that rose from the ashes of what was and make right now your new beginning. Even if you’re fortunate enough to have a great job, it never hurts to think of what else you might like to do if you had the chance to do it all over again.

No matter what your dream job is or even if you don’t know what it is yet, take time to find your passion and think about creating some of your own good career karma.

I am a new to your books and your site. I have a 2 1/2 year old son and a 14 month old daughter and we renletcy received A Frog in the Bog from a friend. We absolutely love it and I know I have read it at least 1000 times already and it still makes me laugh. They sit on my lap and we eagerly await the page where WE ALL SCREAM GATOR!!!! That book never fails to crack us up and when we get to the end, my son ALWAYS demands Again, Again!!! I can’t wait to get my next Karma book. The contests sound like a lot of fun. I really liked Char’s idea too.
