Don’t Shoot the Messenger
How we receive, translate, communicate and understand is totally unique. We are all individuals, and so are the psychics you choose to read with. We all have psychic abilities or senses. Yet as of late, it seems that a lot of seekers are struggling with accepting that the information they are receiving is accurate, or accepting the why’s, ifs, and buts of situations. Being a professional psychic holds many responsibilities.
We are human, and we’re not shown every little minute detail. There’s a reason for this. Some things we’re not supposed to know, or aren’t shown ahead of time, for within the event is a karmic lesson that you’re supposed to experience. Sometimes things happen that are painful and unfair, yet you overcome the blocks in the road to realize the strength and power from within yourself. Everything happens for a reason. It tests the limits of the soul. These so-called tests create who you are. Remember that there are the seasons, reasons, and lifetime connections on our journey through this life. Our successes and failures in all we experience in this life affect who we are.
The bad experiences are the hardest yet most important of all. If someone hurts, betrays or breaks your heart, please forgive them. They have helped you learn about trust and being cautious about who you give your heart to. If someone shows you unconditional love, love them back. They are teaching you the blessings of love, opening your heart to something you would have never felt with them. Then there are the timing of events which has been discussed on many previous blogs.
Timing is fluid. Many things can shift it; it may be you, someone else or an event. It always happens in divine timing when it’s supposed to.
Then the Why’s? To be honest, sometimes we don’t know! It’s not logical; it’s within that person’s psyche, and there is simply no reasonable explanation, yet our guides give us the answer. I don’t question my guides or my gut, because if I do I lose the psychic connections. Again, it’s not logical.
Then there are the accuracy questions. We aren’t God, and no one is 100% except the Divine. I know that every day I log into California Psychics along with my fellow psychics, we’re giving you the best that we can give you. It’s all in the communication, and how you receive and accept information on both sides.
I, for example, am empathic; so if you’re not open, doubting or giving false information, we will not connect well. It hinders the third eye. In the words of Einstein, “the intuitive mind is a sacred gift, and the rational mind a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.” We, as psychics, learn so many things from our clients and their experience on a daily basis. It’s called Earth School. I love what I do, and I care about each and every caller that I read for. This week here at California Psychics held a lesson for me, and that lesson was not to engage in the accuracy questions, because it was the clients who were doubting themselves.
My guides brought back several clients that I read for months and years ago to validate my accuracy and what I’ve been working so hard on teaching about holding so tight on the timing of events. So to my clients—and you know who you are—I thank you and send you much love and light.

Well said my life coach! We all tend to get stuck in our heads from time to time, darn human nature! Hee, hee, hee! I have learned so much from many of the psychics here on CP, I have my favorites of course….nudge nudge wink wink! 😀 But they all lend a different perspective and open so many other doors to the mind. If it’s one BIG thing I have learned, it’s that WE are the makers of our own destiny and there is a way to go about it properly…ahem….law of attraction…ahem…quantum physics! I’m super clairsentiant major sensor always have been. Trying to get a psychic to engage in head stuff will only skew the reading. Of course if after the reading the client wants to discuss what the psychic thinks about certain things then you can have a logical head discussion and so many times we have lovely clients that just can’t tell others what they tell us we are their confidants. I personally perfer a feeler for a reading when I get a reading.

Very wonderful article, Abigail. I am not sure if you remember, about two years ago, or so, I had a blog up, called, “Ask what you are ready to hear.” But, I have to applaud the callers who have told me, upfront, before I begin the reading, “Please don’t tell me anything about this or that, I don’t want to know right now.” And I totally respect that. After all, it’s the caller’s time, and they have every right to taylor make their reading, and their needs. I also tell my clients, “If for some reason there is something that I am seeing in your future, that you would not want to happen, please interrupt me and tell me, and I will tell you what you can do to avoid it. After all, we do have free will. And that’s the beauty of a psychic reading, we can change some things, before they happen. Ok, maybe not everything, but we can sure guide the client in order to have the best possible outcome, and yes, we have all assisted clients in avoiding certain things that they don’t want to happen. Therefore, yes, please don’t get mad at the messenger, and ask what you are ready to hear. Fabulous article, thanks. I think you are a wonderful psychic, Abigail, and congrats on your promotion. I enjoyed your article, I could not agree with you more, too often those who are seeking answers to certain struggles that they are experiences…. there guides are telling them what direction to take, but of course it is our human nature to doubt, this is a trait that can be over come, once you start to trust in your guides, they will honor you and help you more, they wont lead you astray.

Well said Abigail! When giving a psychic reading we are in an altered state, but our own personality shines through in the words given. Example, I do not think too much, I never have, I feel just about everything in my life. Sometimes it is not about the words being spoken, it is, are we connecting in a way the client can understand? Are the callers, hearing, feeling, thinking, or sensing. It truly makes a difference in what psychic you have the connection with. I myself have a very hard time reading a very analitical person, where every word has its place and meaning , It is almost as if we are from different planets. Another psychic can be saying exactly what I am saying with the words the person can hear and understand, does not make the others reading or mine inaccurate….
I 100% agree, only Creator knows all, but CP has really good psychics that can give you understanding on your situation.
Readings are based on the person at the time of the reading and in this world we are all capable of shocking behavior, and turning tail and running for safety…was the reading wrong? Or does the situation need more time to come together perfect. Reading for people carries a heavy responsibility, it is not a game and we all know we are dealing with peoples hearts and they trust our words… trying to trick or test a psychic only wastes the callers time and money.
