5 Reasons to Sleep Naked This Summer

Reasons Sleep Naked

Less Clothing, More Heat!

As temperatures rise, you may find yourself tossing and turning at night—and throwing off your comforter more often than not. But there’s an easy fix for waking up from being too hot: Just sleep naked!

A Bunch of Benefits

Sure, it may sound a little daring, but sleeping naked has a bunch of benefits, and helps you to avoid those dreaded mid-summer night sweats. Interested in testing it out? If you need further encouragement to bare it all in bed, here are five reasons to shed those pajamas this summer.

Wondering if you’ll have someone special to heat up your summer nights? Get a love reading and find out!

1. You’ll Be Much Cooler
No one wants to try and sleep in a hot room. And sleeping naked guarantees you’ll feel cooler in bed. But being cooler while you sleep also means you’ll sleep better: Sleep experts say that your room should be between 65 and 68 degrees Fahrenheit while getting that shut-eye. So, if you don’t have air conditioning and live in a city that gets quite warm, sleeping naked will help your body stay cool. Without clothing, you’ll also sleep longer and more soundly, which can improve your mood and health. These benefits carry over into your daily life since you’ll be more productive and alert while awake.

2. Your Nights Will Get Hotter
Sleeping naked during the summer is great, but it’s even better when your partner sleeps naked too. You two can get hot and heavy without stopping to take your clothes off. So, if you’re looking to spice up your love life, sleeping naked is a really easy and fun way to do so. Surely, if you bring the idea up to your significant other, he or she will be super eager to try it out with you.

3. You’ll Feel Sexier
Even if you don’t share your bed, sleeping naked just makes you feel sexy. If you really want to up the ante, invest in some silk or satin sheets. Forgoing clothing at night can really boost your confidence too: If you feel sexier when you’re going to bed and while you’re sleeping, that renewed sense of self will carry over into your waking life. This assurance and poise can even help you in the workplace, in your relationships and in other facets of your day-to-day. That’s certainly a huge perk of sleeping sans pajamas.

4. You’ll Be More Hygienic
Letting your skin breathe is healthy. You may wear tight or restricting clothes all day, but that doesn’t mean you should wear them at night. Your skin needs a chance to breathe and have air circulate around it. This is just another great reason to sleep naked.

5. You’ll Do Less Laundry
On a purely practical level, wearing fewer articles of clothing each week means less dirty laundry piling up in the bin. Therefore, you won’t have to do laundry as often. Not only will you save money on detergent and fabric softener, your pajamas will last longer! What are you going to do with all that free time?

True, for me anyway, I can’t sleep with clothes on. And yes, it has to be in a cool room, but I have a ceiling fan over my bed….love it ! And I put just a small dab of lilac perfume under my pillows….some prefer lavender though.

Adequate sleep plays a very important part in the whole mind/body/spirit concept. Too many people nowadays do not get enough of it. Sweet dreams !!!

    Blessed Be )O(
