5 Best Ways to Meet the Man (or Woman) You’ll Marry

You still haven’t met the man or woman of your dreams, but there are five great ways that you can find Mrs. or Mr. Right.

Are You Looking in All the Right Places?

You’re looking for the man or woman of your dreams and it feels like you’ve been searching for a long time, right? Your friends smile kindly and point out your fine points, but you know they’re wondering why you haven’t connected with someone special. Relax. There’s nothing wrong with you! You might just be looking for your soul mate in the wrong places.

Men and women will tell you they have seldom, if ever, been hit on in the course of daily life. That happens on TV and in movies, but not in real time. Romances begin in the most unexpected places, but you can plan your activities so that you’ll be in the best places at the right times. If you’re a photographer, for example, you’ll more likely find a love interest at the local scenic spot on Sunday afternoon, than in a singles bar on Friday night. Get personalized advice, contact a psychic today!

Before you seek your new love, be sure you’ve got your own stuff in order. Look inside yourself and get in touch with you needs, your motivations, and you heart’s desire. Center your spirit, get your body in top health, and untangle your mind. If you love yourself first, others will follow. Then, just get out there.

1. Go to school. If you’re not a student, become one. Taking a class in something that interests you puts you in touch with people who share that interest. The classroom is a great place for conversation. Break time is an opportunity to buy a new friend a coffee. Homework means a chance to collaborate.

2. Attend church. Been slacking lately? Get back into your church for a sense of community and the chance to participate in groups, committees, and activities. If you don’t meet people there, you’re not trying.

3. Bond with your friends. Ask a trusted friend to arrange a meeting with someone who is also looking. Make sure you and your friend see eye-to-eye on what your needs are, and that your friend is willing to help you, not manage you.

“People we attract into our life are reflections of who we are, therefore become first what it is you want to attract.” – Rivers ext. 5273

4. Volunteer to do something good for someone else. Find a service organization you can put yourself into with joy and an open heart. Participate for the good you can do others and for your own spiritual growth you’ll experience. But you never know who else is there to grow in spirit and in new friendships!

5. Carefully try an online dating service. Cautionary note: Choose such a service carefully. When you write your profile, DO NOT include identifying info or your real life contact info. Meet only in public places during daytime hours.

Consult a psychic advisor or an astrologer to find the most auspicious times for you to seek out new people, engage in new activities, and delve into matters of the heart. Even if you’ve never tried this approach, you’ll enjoy finding out what you might not be aware of.

The best advice anyone can give is to live your life fully. Make yourself happy, engage in a variety of activities, and be open to new friendships. If you relax and allow joy into your life, you’ll find things of unexpected delight are not far behind.

“You must first decide that you are worthy of love and that your value to be loved is not determined by someone else but yourself.” – William ext. 5131

The article is good and right. I’ve tried them all, but live in a small town. I have an older man, 84, with very good security whose wife died a year ago. One night he called me and said, “Gary, I’m so lonely I don’t want to make another day. Do you know any Asian ladies who would possibly want to marry.” His wife was an Asian lady, and really nice/good. They were married many years with only one grown son. I tried all I knew to help him as he is really lonely, as I am too, but my health is better and I’m only 68. Ha, to you 68 sounds old, to me 84 sounds really old, sooo, the truth is, we’re both too old to be seeking wives. I’ve tried online dating. Senior center, ect. I’m ok, but I really would like to help my 83 year old friend. The lonelyness will take him soon. capt gary.

To Gina, thankyou for that article, I must say it did bother me a bit so that was reassuring that many mentally and physically handicapped are older souls who are teaching rather than receiving lessons. That will help me deal with it in another light. Does this mean that when we receive hardships in life and put our selve’s out consistently for others that we are being taught a lesson? I can see some logic in that. Marc

    Dear Marc from UK,

ROAB…..neat name for an organization….I actually googled it and read about it. I think that’s great that they help out people in need.

One comment i heard on the radio tonight on my way back though was a quote from an English football player, that physically or mentally handicapped people have come back here into this life to be taught a lesson? Is this Karma?

Answer : no, not really ….Karma is not punishment….

I see physically and mentally challenged individuals more as teachers to others around them….many physically or mentally challenged individuals are very advanced, old souls….

…and feel that any lessons learned, would generally be learned by the people around them…..for example : in how they accept and react to the physically or mentally challenged individual .

I joined a lodge which is a secret order, RAOB Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes! Our sole purpose is charity and benevolence, in doing so I have made many friends, and I have evolved as a person, it’s great to raise money for charities, we support a local mentally handicapped school, the feeling of giving to others and helping those who cannot always help themselve’s is amazing and humbling, all lessons to be learned, but the main lesson is: giving good karma receives good karma, we also socialise out side the order and meet new people. ……………………………One comment i heard on the radio tonight on my way back though was a quote from an English football player, that physically or mentally handicapped people have come back here into this life to be taught a lesson? I agree with all of these. It seems like most singles, all over, put a profile up. So why not you? Also, may I please report to you all, that I have heard sooooo many times, from men and women, “I was reading a magazine or on my laptop at a local coffee place and there they were.(their partner)” Yes, seriously. Singles, please go get a cup of java, or tea, at least a couple times a month, at a coffee place, even if you are on your laptop, cell, or just taking a little break. I am just stunned by how many times I have heard of people finding new people to date, or even the ONE just doing that….I feel so eager to share this. Sometimes, it is the simple places, however this is an excellent list in this post and consider them 100%. I have seen soul mates meet at markets, gas stations and even the cell phone stores!!! Cheers. And please call me if you want some guidance on future lovers, soul mates and dates!
    Thanks! Miss Krystal 🙂

As,I said before, be yourself and the right one will, love you and appreciate, you not pretending, to be someone, that you are not. That is a disaster, waiting, to happen. Have faith, it will happen, when the timing is right. Never settle, for less and never change, for anyone.

Never, look for, the right man. It is when you are not looking, he shows, up out of nowhere. You will, know when, he is the one. It is as if you are connected, like twins. Have faith and do not look. Even with statistics showing it is 6 billion to 1, people find their soulmate. I am not the only one. You do not have to worry about, what you say, or even when, you look your very worst. Just be yourself. Otherwise, you will end up with the wrong man.

I recommend # 4……it’s good Karma…..join a charity or non-profit org….you’ll be doing something that makes the world a better place AND meeting like-minded people.
