Famous Dreams Part 2

Following are some dreams had by scientists, inventors and others. These famous people used their dreams for solutions to quests they were working on.

For instance, physicist, Albert Einstein was working on the theory of relativity without success when he had a dream. Einstein dreamt that he was a young boy sledding down a mountainside, going faster and faster. As he flew down the hill he found himself watching the appearance of the stars change as he approached the speed of light. When he awoke, he knew he had the solution to his theory solved.

Elias Howe had been working on inventing a machine that could sew with the same speed as the spinning and weaving machines (the loom and the Spinning Jenny). These two machines had been invented in the middle of the 1700’s and had inspired the Industrial Revolution. The third element, a sewing machine that could keep up with them, was a problem that was being worked on all over the world. However, years had gone by without a discovery. Then Howe went to sleep one night and found the answer in a seemingly scary dream. In the dream he found himself being poked by natives with spears. As he repeatedly tried to get out of the boiling water, he found himself being pushed back by the spears.

When he awoke from the nightmare, he found himself realizing that the spears had holes in their points. It was then, that he knew he had found the answer to the sewing machine.

From the sports arena, golfer Jack Nicklaus talked about having a dream in 1964, that changed his entire game. “Wednesday night I had a dream and it was about my golf swing. I was hitting them pretty good in the dream and all at once I realized I wasn’t holding the club the way I’ve actually been holding it lately. I’ve been having trouble collapsing my right arm taking the club head away from the ball, but I was doing it perfectly in my sleep. So when I came to the course yesterday morning I tried it the way I did in my dream and it worked. I shot a sixty-eight yesterday and a sixty-five today.”

Many have heard about Abraham Lincoln’s very famous and precognitive dream which took place right before his assassination. An abbreviated portion of this dream follows:

“There seemed to be death-like stillness about me. Then I heard subdued sobs, as if a number of people were weeping. I thought I left my bed and wandered downstairs…no living person was in sight, but the same mournful sounds of distress met me as I passed along. It was light in all the rooms; every object was familiar to me; but where were all the people who were grieving as if their hearts would break? … Determined to find the cause of a state of things so mysterious and so shocking, I kept on until I arrived at the East Room, which I entered. There I met with a sickening surprise. Before me was a catafalque, on which rested a corpse wrapped in funeral vestments. Around it were stationed soldiers who were acting as guards; and there was a throng of people, some gazing mournfully upon the corpse, whose face was covered, others weeping pitifully. “Who is dead in the White House?” I demanded of one of the soldiers “The President” was his answer; “he was killed by an assassin! Then came a loud burst of grief from the crowd, which awoke me from my dream.”

Another death dream that had enormous implications was one dreamt by Adolf Hitler. During World War I, Hitler dreamt that he and his fellow soldiers were being surrounded by earth and metal. When he awoke, he immediately left the trench he’d been sleeping in. After he’d gone, the trench was hit by enemy fire and everyone was killed. This dream eerily illustrates the importance of deciphering our nighttime visions.

And here is a line from Edgar Cayce’s dream which took place right before the 1929 stock market crash: “There must surely come a break where there will be panic in the money centers, not only of Wall Street’s activities, but a closing of the boards in many other centers”.

And finally, a story about famous dreams could not be complete without including most likely the most famous of all dreams dreamt by Pharaoh and interpreted by Joseph, as recorded in the Bible. Pharaoh’s dream went as follows: Seven fat cattle came out to feed, followed by seven lean cattle, who devoured the fat cattle. After this, seven good ears of corn were eaten by seven thin and ragged ears of corn.

Joseph’s interpretation said that Egypt would live through seven very prosperous years, followed immediately by seven years of famine. Pharaoh used this astute interpretation to his advantage by storing grain from the prosperous years to feed the people during the years of famine.

Have you ever used dreams to help solve a problem you were working on? Or open a healing path for you?

That is so interesting, I have been seeing a real thinning of the different dimensions taking place, to where people see buildings, people… to the point they turn there head and find that they were never there.
I do believe you saw an higher vibration energy, those like yourself who are on a higher vibrational level are going to see this more it is almost like a lightning serge but with energy, these are going to be more and more active, it has to do with effecting people’s emotional stability, like a shock, unfortunately it will be a shock to wake up move and that effect could be positive or negative.
George Washington, Wow, I looked at him once, I really do like him and his energy, he really did and still does have a passion for wanting the country to be free and did have hopes for that, forever, He came to visit you to of course let you know that the work you are doing is for good and not in vein, but to let you know you are a big part of the shifting, the more people are more aware the sooner we, this country will be so much stronger and yes in deed stronger than ever!!!!
Great Stuff!!!! I have always seen him as a tall man, “BIG” heart, I admire him….
    Blessings, Hugs and Hearts!

Hi. I just wanted to tell you….And this is the honest to God truth…The night of the solar eclipse, I was in vegas. When the sun was setting, I looked out my hotel window and saw something amazing. I saw beams of light through the sky and it was nestled in between the clouds….The sun looked illuninated and I felt I was looking at something so unreal….The person I went with was not in the room at the time. They came back about ten minutes later. I took them to the window, and it was GONE!!!! The clouds had it all covered up by the time they got back…(YOU KNOW WHO) lol
    Ok…so I had a dream that night..
George Washington came to me, and told me to not worry, this is a strong country and, we will come back even stronger…Give it more time he said…And then, that was it!! What do you think???
    Hugs,

I’ll definitely keep that in mind, Corrine.
As for meeting someone in government, the closest I’ve come is a sergeant in the Guard. I was in his office & he would be interrupted by phone calls, to which he gave his formal title, etc. Then he’d go back to talking with me and get very esoteric~! It was quite interesting. He was a “channeler”, and later that day, I accompanied him to someone’s home where he proceeded to do his thing.
    Interesting world and “other worlds”…

    Appreciate your great comments, Corrine~!
Hitler kind of reminds me of “he-who-must-not-be-named”~~now don’t laugh 🙂
I mean in that he was intuitive, used psychic energy (from what I’ve read) and encouraged the use of alternative ways of doing things. However,he made the conscious decision to use all this power in a negative way~~and look what happened to him…
Glad my story brightened your day~!
    Much luv & lite~!

    Hi Gina Rose,
Thnx for your continuing good comments.
Yes~! Einstein was a creative genius and that entails being intuitive and wholistic (right and left-brained).

    Hi Corrine,
It’s a fact that Hitler not only used psychics but also astrology as a war-time tool.
But Hitler is not the first leader of a country at war to do so….and definitely was not the last.
Our government has used psychics, and done much dream research, for decades now. And the Russians were way ahead of USA for psychic research projects and still are.
    Blessed Be )O(…..Gina Rose ext.9500
