Who Was Your Teen Crush?

I had another celebrity sighting this morning! I was at school before work (I do observations at a high school) and I noticed a group of girls gathered around a walkway literally screaming and crying.

It’s a high school so I assumed it was just a fight. I walked over and who is sitting on the bench? None other than Twilight star Taylor Lautner.

Now this Twilight thing, I admit to having read the books/seen the movies because it appeals to the 13 year old girl within, but I’m not a teenager so I didn’t really understand that whole dynamic. I looked at his chart — Venus in Capricorn indicates some Earthy sensuality — no wonder the teens were screaming.

The boys were just as awestruck, calling to their friends saying the “wolf guy” was at school. Then a teacher came up to me and said, “Get back to class young lady!” Apparently I look like a 16 year old Twi-hard.

Anyways, it got me wondering, before these Twilight kids hit the scene, who was your teen crush?

Clint Eastwood was my crush, I followed every episode of Rawhide, and I still follow all of his movies. Now I really admire John Travolta and Will Smith.

Insert ‘Remington Steele’/’James Bond’ –Pierce Brosnan (who remains my crush to this very day!), a light infatuation with Christian Bale and Richard Grieco–and my list is complete. (I know Richard throws the trend off–but hey, you gotta give your list a little spice)!

I was always more of a Christian Slater fan and oh that Brad Pitt when Thelma and Louise came out really floated my boat.

I’m going to contribute and say that I was/still am a huge fan of Batman (comic, Keaton, and today’s current incarnation of him via the deliciouness that is Christian Bale).
However, upon further examination into my past, I realize that the two people I had plastered on my bedrooms walls as a teen were Billy Corgan (of Smashing Pumpkins fame) and Marilyn Manson (I was going through a goth phase). Loved the music and creativity more so than the looks. I’m an odd one.
