4 Money Mistakes to Avoid

Are You Cheating Yourself Out of Riches?

It’s said that money makes the world go round, and while it won’t bring you ultimate happiness, you do need enough of it to survive! Money management can be tricky, but you can save yourself years of bad decisions and financial loss by taking proactive measures and avoiding monumental mistakes. Let’s look at a few biggies now!

Carelessness With Debt

It’s hard not to accrue at least some debt in the course of our lives: college loans, home mortgages, car loans, unexpected medical expenses, etc. How you care for your debt, though, makes all of the difference. Don’t ever agree to exceedingly high interest rates. Commit yourself to paying off your principal amount at as fast a rate as is reasonably and comfortably possible. The worst thing you can do is ignore your debt situation, letting yourself coast for years on minimum payments, and never researching better interest rates.

No Emergency Fund or Savings Plan

Regardless of the amount of your bills and debt, always save something for yourself in case of emergencies, and with an eye on the future. Not having a financial safety net means that if and when a financial disaster strikes, you have no way of solving the problem without causing yourself even greater financial harm. No savings account also means you are not planning for the big life events such as weddings, children and retirement. So do yourself a favor and start socking it away, even if it’s just a little per week.

Not Tracking Finances

Managing your money requires constant upkeep. If you never balance your checkbook or check your online statements, you are on the road to financial disaster! Checking in on your account keeps your spending habits under control and gives you the information you need to determine whether or not a change is required.

“When it comes to your paycheck/money/finances, instead of thinking: ‘That’s not enough,’ think with the attitude of gratitude by blessing what you’ve got. Soon, a greater flow of money will come to you.” – Psychic Kallista ext. 9623

Emotional Spending

In a marketing and advertising world focused on buying a multitude of products promising a better lifestyle, it’s so easy to emotionally spend. You need to ask yourself if your general purchasing habits are based on real needs, rather than desires. While it’s ok to splurge on certain things (if it’s in your budget), buying everything in sight that temporarily fulfills some emotional void will only leave you burdened with objects having no real emotional sustenance!

I,ve often been asked to define “Success: “”Success” is not a friend that’s kind or a well fill purse or a piece of mind it’s not who or what u know, it’s reaping what u sow

Money, I,ve been told is the root of evil; I,ve have also learned those who cherish it most, are the ones who has it least.

Simply stated; “If one’s finance “Outgo” exceeds their “In-
    come”, their “Upkeep”
    will be their “Downfall”

I don’t have any debts. I started to focus on JOY and my whole life changed, kind of experiencing only that even it wasn’t becoming a millionaire. When my priority was money and IT WAS and was just so focus on THAT and IT WAS yes I obtained IT but also wasn’t feeling happy AT ALL. I don’t know why or when I started to trade IT ( change my wishes ) the whole wanting of if IT ( money ) for the whole wanting of HAPPINESS, but it happened gradually and took several years to accomplish it and train my mind OFF from it and ON to HAPPINESS. I started to turn down jobs that made me lots money but no happiness I said NO relationships that gave me status and money but no happiness I said NO, in my case was needed because I used to be a MAGNET for the sensational and the ephemeral, the material and the unhappy that I hope to find the balance to achieve both but I couldn’t, maybe I failed at IT finding the balance but nothing else because I found JOY. This I don’t recommend it will work for a layer or a business man or a doctor, or I don’t know maybe it will but for the artist type ME it didn’t. In the process Ive never really drawn or missed anything I really needed or need to keep going my dreams are still alive and at last discovered a book where I am learning that JOY is the ultimate wish and that if I keep wishing for IT and living it up to IT, the rest will fall right in to place. Happiness is very important to me. Believe me, I have had it ALL. I’m not impress by any of it so easily if it doesn’t have the energy of JOY, I remember I say, “oops” it’s not for me. When it does, I walk in to the deal and make some cash, and so keep going and make some cash and more and day by day year by year. It’s a different experience, I learned how to balance not a check book, my own self worth.
