Intuition or Psychic Ability?

Intuition is commonly defined as a strong feeling, instinct, or gut reaction. Our intuition is usually more accurate than we realize. However it can sound fuzzy, unclear or like hearing someone talking in the distance. Everyone has intuitive feelings. In this culture as a whole we’ve trained ourselves to ignore them. Psychic ability is the refined use of intuition. It is more active and precise. Psychic insight requires focus without the distraction of random thoughts. This requires practice, trust and training.

What do you think about intuition? How do you use it in your daily lives?

Don’t worry remember only two things which are always with us-“God” and “Death” these two are always with us we only forget these but ultimate we went to these two who come and help. The things which are not ever with us and that are this world and life, we only run after these and can never find these upto end.

If you question something you have known all your life…it is time to trust it. Intuit, empath, highly sensative. These are all words for that other sense. Intuition is in you. We all have it. Some are willing to tap it. I know one thing for sure. I do not use reason to come to conclusions or decsions any more. Intuition is the best gage. It overides reason sometimes and the thoughts in the brain. The brain to the heart….it’s in the gut of the heart.Just my thoughts

Most people don’t realize that although we can communicate with spirit through a Ouiji board, it can be dangerous to do so. You are inviting any spirit to come through. That can leave the portal open for anything from spirit to demonic entities to walk in.

I do not recommend using a Ouiji board unless you know how to close the portal and protect yourself.

Hi — I’m new on here– this year I have working on developing positivity, tapping, and even intuition. I’d finally met someone online and we have a great connection but because I asked too much information, he has canceled our plans to finally meet tomorrow. I was crushed. Any thoughts — can so few words make such a difference! Yvonne

I sometimes think about the Ouija board and what would come through if I used one with a friend. Yet everytime I think this, my intuition kicks me in the solar plexus with a huge, resounding “NEVER”!
I have seen spirits, dreamed of them, and have had the sensation of them watching me, and once or twice following me too. The impression I get is that if I use the Ouija, something bad will come through that will attach itself to me, no matter what my precautions. I’ve often thought that this was silly, other people use the Ouija all the time. But I have never been able to shake this feeling of doom when I think about it. I don’t recall ever seeing a board in real life and stay far away from them. Could this be a past life warning in which something did happen or is it something else? I’m usually the first one to jump in and do weird and wacky things with friends, with the exception of this. It’s the strength of the reaction to the Ouija board that puzzles me the most. Any insight would be most appreciated.

    Thank you.

First time reader…but enthralled with this as I experience very much the same type of feelings. I told a young man last night that I am just bursting with overwhelming feelings that he and this young woman belong together it’s like I am being ambushed inside my head and my gut and I can’t shake it. This sort of thing happens all the time with me as well as other things – predicting things to come. I also hesitate to tell people because they are going to think I am off my rocker. I sense things – relationships, death (usually thru dreams), etc. When my second eldest daughter was in university, she would come home and say “Mom, guess what I got on my exam?” A number would appear in my head and I would say what the number was and 9 times out of 10, I would be right on the money! She would look at me like I was some sort of freak and then we would just laugh about it. Very weird. I have been trying to become more in tune but like Merry, have a hard time quieting my mind so much so that it is difficult to sleep at night. I don’t remember the last time I had a solid night’s sleep. Any help would be appreciated.

I feel that the older I get the more in tuned I am with my intuition. I know that something is going to happen but am not sure what. Now it’s getting more precise. I felt that my car windshield was going to break or something….and it cracked after a rock hit it…I had a nagging feeling that my tire was going to go flat…and the next day it was flat…but it was the wrong tire that I thought ( bad luck with this car, could the universe is telling me it time to get another car?)..so I am wondering if I can work on my intuition and that I can be more accurate. I had a dream that I was in labor giving birth and then suddenly the birthing mother turned into my oldest daughter and I stood by when she gave birth to a girl and a calender was on the wall and Dec 1st popped out at me. When I awoke. I knew in my heart that my daughter was not the one I was dreaming of…but I also knew the person that was pregnant was a blood relative of mine. 2 weeks later, my cousin’s 20 yr old daughter came to me asking for my help. She thought she was pregnant and was afraid to tell her mother. I helped through it and helped her to open up to her mother. The baby girl was born exactly on Dec 1st! I am trying to learn to meditate… and quiet my mind…but it is hard with all the chatter in my head. How do I stop the noise and static and really tune in?

Intuition-Knowing what is in our face to me aware of? Sure I have always known I was differant. Over the years, I tried to put it in the closet, but when the 911 happen, I dreamed of that a few nights before. I dismissed it, thinking it was just too far out. Now, I trust what is in my face. Because most of the time it is right.

    Ladies,

I have a question for you,I am very intuitive myself and I find my hands full with a special someone,
I have recently met a very strong woman who I fell in love with, and she with me. The problem I find is that she always has to be right, even when she is wrong. This problem might be tied to a past life we had together in which I was not very good to her, in this life, I have been very good toward her, but there still seems to be a problem with her expressing how she feels to me, she always seems so guarded, I openly express how much I love her, with not much response other than she does respond verbally without much emotion. Am I asking too much, I sense that she is that love of my life, what is a good way of approaching this dilemma tactfully without making her feel defensive, is this just one of those time things, that through time and love will have the best chance of addressing or is there a better approach?
Thanks in advance, a man on the forum among ladies

I never open these message board things but tonight was different. I began to read your daily message about intuition and then looked at your name. I weirded out because I looked at the authors name and it was my name…Abigail. I really like your vibe and wish to improve my intuition. I sometimes feel like I have a gut feeling but then the rational side of me shuts it out with I’m just making it up in my head or wishful thinking. I confuse myself all year long lol. Anyways thank you for being a great clarevoiant.

How beautifully put Estel! What an old soul you are.
One of his students asked Buddha, “Are you the messiah?”
    “No”, answered Buddha.
    “Then are you a healer?”
    “No”, Buddha replied.
“Then are you a teacher?” the student persisted.
“No, I am not a teacher.”
“Then what are you?” asked the student, exasperated.
    “I am awake”, Buddha replied

    Dear happinessintheworld,
For some there is no such thing as shutting it off or out. That has been my personal experience anyway. I suceeded in shutting it out or refusing to see for a period of years only to have the universe come in and literally kick my butt to where I truley belong LOL. Keep working on it do not try to force it let it flow naturally but be persistant on quieting the mind chatter.
    All of sudden you’ll see.

Will an opportunity come back around if missed due to the lack of trust or confidence in your intuition?
The reason I am asking this, is because even though I know I should have done something about it…. I didn’t. This was due to taking the risk and being wrong…I didn’t trust myself.
I feel I have strong intuitive ability as well as having psychic tendencies. I have noticed that the strength of these abilities come in cycles. I am doing what I can to enhance them, and I am working on trusting myself.

I had a similar experience once with I job that I was offered. When I got to the place to interview, I had this really weird feeling. The weirdest thing about it was that I had volunteered there before and never got that feeling being there. I had the interview and, although it went well, I couldn’t shake the feeling. As soon as it was over, I wasted no time in getting the heck out of there!
Almost immediately, I was offered the job. It isn’t that it wasn’t a good-paying job or one that would have given me experience that I needed. There was just something telling me to absolutely under no circumstances should I take it. Even though I didn’t have a job at the time, I turned down the offer. I have no idea what disaster was averted by me listening to my intuition, but I am sure there would have been one had I taken the job. I’d love to know now, but I am glad I didn’t have to learn it from experience!!!

    Good Morning Corrine,
I once met a man I was going to be doing work with that was new to the company I worked with. I shook his hand and immediately the hair stood up all over my body! I then had to excuse myself to go to the ladies room to wash them. It was the feeling of being slimed with negetive energy. That man caused many problems for many people .I kept myself protected from it. My instinct was so right on. I had even made the comment the Emporer has no clothes …..
Always pay attention to those kinds of things that are just so strong its protection at its fineset.

OMG I just fell out of my chair laughing that actually happened to me in my pre-teens when my grandmother sent me to pick the wild blueberries in the clearing from the farm. I heard this this God awful noise then I heard a rumbling! That is when I realized I better get the feet running because it was crashing and running though the woods. As I got to the bottom of the clearing there he was and another male going at it pretty amazing thing rutting season and I certainly did not want them seeing little me LOL I’m a peanut as it is…. then I was a pea hehehehe

    Hi, Lise,
Congratulations on evolving to a point where you are comfortable with your intuition!
As you are already that far along, my suggestion would be two-fold. The first one can be a tough one for most of us-practice actively “letting go” in the form of working to clear your mind of all of the stored perceptions we have, i.e., I hear thunder so it will rain. Tabula rasa, if you will and thereby open space for your intuition to flash and completely provide perception about any issue. Secondly, continue to develop trusting your intuition by actively pushing away the immediate “second-guessing” or “practicality” that rushes in right behind our intuition. One of the tools that has helped my clients do that is to remember the old advice about taking a test in school-that our first answer to a test question is almost always the correct one-to never go back and change a test answer.
I’m certain you’ll continue to develop your intution. Feel free to call if you wish and we can discuss more ways to strengthen your intuition.

    Hi…..
I’ll be using my remote viewing skills this morning big time…..I’ll be hauling some dogs to the Vet for shots for the upcoming adoption show. I’m leaving in 30 minutes…will be pulling a horse trailor behind my truck with cages inside the trailor. Mountain passes, usually bridges, down here are foggy as streams are running beneath the bridges….and people down here either drive 25 mph or 90 mph….and lets not forget the deer who come to drink out of these streams early in the morning.

This example is why developing psychic skills and simply being ” aware ” can come in handy.

I am a big believer in intuition! I believe that most women have it but don’t necessarily use it. Society has not taught people to rely on their inner guidance which leads to confusion, poor decision-making and doubt. Intuition helps us with discernment which is a life skill. I use my inner guidance and connection with the higher self to transfer wisdom with love and knowledge.

Yes…. everybody born is intuitive, but, ( and I agree with Miss Krystal)…. becoming a professional takes years of meditation and work to hone and fine tune skills.
I use my intuition, and clairvoyance, for things like driving in the mountains down here ….as SO MANY deer cross the roads at high speed. It has saved me a couple of times so far. I don’t like to read myself on emotional issues though.

    Maryanne,
I often use several examples and metaphores for mine. The gut, the solar plexas center if we pay attention never fails us. Also if you start hearing a noise in your car and it keeps getting worse day by day and you keep ignoring it eventually it will break down. Kind of like our own itnuition when we are in a bad situation or relationship……

    Abigail,
Your’re so right-I often tell clients we all have intuition, it’s just that we psychics have exercised and honed our intuition “muscle” so it has strengthened like any other muscle.
I could not agree more that learning to trust our intuition is a big step and one that takes lots of practice.
I hope our clients can learn to allow themselves to trust their intuition-little by little, perhaps on smaller matters first-until they become comfortable with their intuition.
    Thanks,

I really like your explanation of psychic ability as being a ‘refined use of intuition.’ My intuition has always been strong and I have always had better outcomes when I listen to it. There have been a few times that I have chosen not to listen to it, and I have regretted it each time.
