I am a huge advocate for pulling a Tarot card or sigil each day. It gives me something to focus on as I go about my daily tasks. Meditation and Movement

Getting out of the house and into the fresh air can go a long way toward clearing the mind and rejuvenating the spirit in the face of claustrophobia. In case your yoga class or other exercise location is still off limits for safety reasons, there are many resources that we can use to access things like guided meditation, yoga, or movement classes. Setting aside 15 minutes a day to simply be in the moment without all the expectations and stress that we are constantly bombarded with can do amazing things for our overall well-being.

Stay Connected

Humans are social creatures by nature, and although everyone can do with a bit of quiet and alone time, we still need to have regular connection with friends and loved ones. Social distancing and required isolation can make this seem almost impossible, but with the help of technology, staying connected isn’t as difficult as it seems. Utilize computers and phones to stay in touch with friends and loved ones, create watch parties, join online groups like Meetup.com and meet like-minded people who are also trying to keep the isolation-crazies away. We may not be able to hug and meet up like we are used to, but this does help bridge the gap and help to feel less alone. Just make sure to give yourself plenty of screen-free time so that you don’t get zoomed-out.

Keep Your Head Up

The past year and half have been full of challenges and change, and I have no doubt that we will all be kept on our toes for the remainder of this year too, but with a little forethought and some creative tools, we will all be able to navigate the changes and thrive in spite of them.
