A Month of Romance!
February is historically known as the month of romance—we have Valentine’s Day and the sweet belief that birds begin to choose their mates during this month. Here are some simple steps you can follow if you want to bring some romance into your life this month:
Get Romance Ready
You never know where you’re going to meet your mate. A friend of mine met hers while pumping gas. She showed up, smiled and the rest is history. You could meet your mate anytime and anywhere so go out every day looking, smelling and feeling great. Sexy means being, looking and feeling healthy and confident!
Be fun and lightly flirtatious. If you are smiling, you look happy and happy people attract other happy people. Can you think of anyone who isn’t attracted to a happy, smiling face or someone who is having fun?
Be Present. Be Mindful.
Be present and live in the now. Be mindful and make sure you are seeing things for what they really are and are seeing people and situations for what they really are.
Put the message out there that you are ready to date. Dating is fun. It’s not supposed to be a chore. Look at each date as an exciting, new opportunity. Treat each date as a new person, and not a copy of someone you dated in your past.
The real you is confident, sexy and fun. Don’t pretend to be someone you’re not just to please a date. Be confident and secure that the real you is not just good enough, but wonderful. Once you’re dating, look to see that your values match with your partner’s and that you both have the same dating and relationship goals. It’s best to have that kind of clarity right from the get-go.
This is going to be fun. Spring is in the air, birds are mating and Cupid’s arrows are striking!
