I’ve tried several times to chime in with a comment, but after several re-writes, I think I should give up. I seem to only be repeating what’s already been said or my comments keep turning into lengthy b**ching tirades about my husband and daughter, and I don’t want to come off like a Debbie Downer. Let’s just say I’m in total agreement about needing space and not wanting to be taken for granted, and neither need seems to be being met lately. Like the Rolling Stones said, “I can’t get no satisfaction.”

The cities ‘on high’ refuse to take care of the main problem on this earth plane the right way and instead are forcing ascensions of beings and people who are not ready or did not agree to leave that way. Many are leaving that will be needed in future times in the physical or afterworld.
    Blessings to the Original Hu-mans.

Taking someone for granted is my biggest pet peeve, but it’s true for me in all types of relationships. Having a relationship, whether romantic or platonic, is about give and take. It means having someone to lean on when you need to; but, when one partner ends up carrying the other, it can become too heavy a burden.

Being taken for granted can be something as small as always asking your partner for favors that you never offer to return, and as big as making life-changing decisions without talking about it first. Treat the people you love as if today is the last day you have with them, then do the same thing again tomorrow.

I agree with Corrine! A lack of honesty, even in little things, drives me crazy. But in the last 5 years of dating talking behind mine or anyone’s back is the number one pet peeve. I loss respect and trust in all of them after that. And I think men in small towns are worst than women anyday.

Gina Rose, I hope you find that perfect man for you…. if that’s what decide you want. I have a feeling you are very independant and Happy no matter what! I love all your comments and insight to these and every article! Thank you for sharing your experience and wisdom with us All!
    HUGS to you all,

The guy for me would have to be the geeky, quiet, intellectual type…..somebody with a tedious hobby… rebuilding computers, or building a ship/boat by hand out in the garage…..or making
soldered by piece stained- glass lamp shades or wood carving….something, ANYTHING, that will keep him busy and happy so I can have my space and quiet time too.

I would say overall , in men, when they will not shut up and give me space!

I’ve turned down 6 marriage proposals since 2004….mainly because they just won’t stop talking and give me quiet time alone.

But again….But I’m an odd bird anyway…..I am a freedom-loving introvert to the max. I REALLY NEED my down time and space & solitude.
