Dead Husband Comes Back to Life
Maggie in Victoria, British Columbia writes:
I dreamt that my husband (who is partly my first husband, who passed away eighteen years ago) had fallen down and stopped breathing. Everyone said that he was dead. I touched his heart and felt nothing. Then I blew into his nose and his mouth, like artificial respiration. After a while he opened his eyes and said, “Thank you so much. I’m back again.”
Do you need to breathe new life into your marriage? Or, if you’re single (you didn’t say if you were married in waking life), perhaps it’s time to revitalize your love life. It seems you’re headed for a delightful “second act” with your husband or someone new.
In the dream, you felt nothing when you touched your husband’s heart. If you’re married, this might indicate your connection to your husband is depleted, or his feelings in general may be suppressed. But after ignoring the negativity of others (which may symbolize your own pessimism), you made an effort to bring him—and therefore your relationship—back to life. Good job!
My second thought about the dream is that your husband may feel a loss of direction, because falling down symbolizes a hitch in one’s progress. If you’re single, this loss of direction may pertain to your love life. In either case, having faith in your inner guidance will bring a positive outcome.
