Find Your Truth, Find Your True Love

Knowing Your Personal Truth Leads to True Love

It is always best to focus on personal development rather than look to outside sources for happiness and fulfillment. Trust in the fact that the more you work on yourself, the more others will be drawn to you, including your true love. You must find your personal truth first, if you are ever going to find your true love.

Ignore Others’ Expectations

You will never know who you really are if you cannot ignore who others want you to be. It is easy to get spiritually sidetracked if you are overly focused on what others think of and expect from you. Forget the person you think you need to be and start focusing on who you truly are. Only you know what’s best for you, and trying to be who others want will lead to spiritual unhappiness and confusion. If you don’t know who you are, then how can you recognize your spiritual partner, and how will they recognize you?

Know Thyself

You need to know who you are and what your boundaries are in order to find the right person to complement you. Try new things to discover new talents and interests. Spend plenty of quality time alone and note how differently you feel and behave. If there is a major discrepancy, you’ve got some work to do! The more experiences you have and the more challenges you take on, the easier it will be to recognize behaviors, feelings and choices that do not serve your best interests and do not engage your spiritual truth. You will only attract your true love when you know what you can offer and when you know what kind of person you should be looking for.

Under Construction

Knowing your issues means you get the opportunity to work on them and move past them. We all have spiritual work to do, and we all carry baggage that can hinder us from finding true happiness and true love. Be honest with yourself and what might be holding you back from being open to the right person. Challenge yourself by seeking out and embracing situations which offer spiritual growth. Face your issues and they will lose their power over you. Be patient with yourself and stay attuned to these positive changes. Therapy can be a wonderful tool in accomplishing these goals as well. If you are willing to do the work, you will reap the beautiful rewards—you’ll learn to truly love yourself and your true love will find you!

This article hit home with me in a way that no other advice or well-meaning words of wisdom from others has. I sm going through hell in my life and I’m in a place that I’ve never been before (emotionally and spiritually). Honestly, I am terrified about how far I’ve let things go, but that’s another story. For anyone out there doubting themselves because they haven’t found “the one” yet, don’t. Read this article-over and over- and put it to use in your life and I guarantee you’ll be a much happier person! In love and life.

I think this article is right on time for me because I am dating again after a 20 year plus marriage. I am very much looking forward to being with my soul mate.

Dear Sonja, can you please tell me when I will meet my true love or life partner? If you need my birthday it’s 11/06 /77. I have two kids and never married. I really don’t know if this is real but I figure at this point why would it hurt to try this out.
