Mercury turns direct today, which will be a relief for anyone who has experienced chaotic communications during the past three weeks while the planet of talk and travel was retrograde. Stories abound of canceled plans, computer glitches and messed up travel arrangements during that time.
With the e-mail, texting, telecommuting and social networking so prevalent these days, retrograde Mercury affects nearly everyone, to some degree. This particular retrograde took place in Capricorn, the sign of business, so communications involving work were certainly affected.
Mercury turns retrograde every four months, so be on the lookout for possible miscommunications during the next retrograde period, from April 17th – May 11th, 2010.
