Peter Graves, the man behind Mission Impossible long before the days of Tom Cruise, has died at the age of 83.
Known for his deadpan comedic turn as Captain Clarence Oveur in the Airplane! films, this Pisces actor had Mercury in Aries… a placement that helped immortalize such quotes as “Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?” Classic!
Graves also had a love of anything dramatic and creative evidenced in his Uranus in Pisces and Neptune in Leo. Interestingly, his chart suggests a deep longing for spiritual enlightenment with placements such as Mercury Sextile Jupiter, Moon Square Neptune, and Saturn Square Neptune.
The great actor will be missed.
