Red Responds: A Psychic Late Bloomer

Dear Red,

Where do late bloomers go when their psychic gifts start coming in leaps and bounds? I’ve been “closeted” as a matter of survival from very young childhood to adulthood. I did not have an open, or accepting situation, let alone one that was nurturing of my gifts.

I was highly intuitive at a very young age. I thought everyone experienced the world this way, until I asked others if they had a little voice inside their heads, too. (They didn’t.) So when I experienced any kind of phenomena I just took it with a grain of salt or tucked it away for future reference. I sensed I had some kind of power, but I was afraid of self-importance or that I could hurt someone.

Additionally, I had a near-death experience at the age of 12, and as a nurse in ICU/CCU, ER/trauma I have assisted patients in their transition, since I have no fear of death. I am a healer and will embark in studies of the Hawaiian form (of the psychic arts). It is interesting I am called home to the islands, as I have lived away for over 20 years.

I did not ask for these gifts. Anyone who does should have their head examined. These gifts are like a double-edged sword. I have a very deep spiritual life. The Spirit does not allow me to tarry too long. However, I now know what I am called to be when I grow-up. I am 58-year-old woman with a very young heart. Thank you for any insight you can give me about developing my gifts.

Mahalo!

Iwonne

Iwonne,

I was tickled to death to receive this message from you!

As you know from our conversations along with those you’ve had with other fabulous 800-PREDICT psychics, you are on the right track. I have a very deep suspicion that your submission has less to do with you and more to do with “healing” others who are going through similar experiences. Always the healer, aren’t you?

Spiritual journeys are unique to the individual. One thing that I believe with my entire being is when you follow your spirit, you are never led astray. As you journey into your “higher” education in the Hawaiian tradition, more doors will open for you in the realm of understanding; not only about your gifts, but also yourself.

As for being a “late bloomer”, you really are not. Age and time are of the physical realm. Everything that you’ve gone through, the good and the bad, has helped you to reach this point. It seems as if everything is coming at you at once because you are ready to receive, to learn, to grow.

You have much work to do, and many more lives to touch. Not to mention that even though you are a “student,” you are also a teacher. And, as you become more comfortable with who and what you are, you will find that you will attract others of like-mind. Learn all you can, and use everything you have to help others along their way. I know you, and I know that you will. You shine so brightly, my friend. Now, get to work! 🙂

Brightest Blessings,
Red
