What does a typical day off look like for
you?
I usually start my day off with 2 cups of coffee followed by some Reiki meditation to help clear the day before I begin any big projects. Next, I go for a walk with my sweet little dog, Napoleon. I usually take him for a walk to take in the fresh air and enjoy nature. It’s always nice to do this, but I must admit, fall is my favorite time of year for a nature walk.
Do you have a self-care routine after being on the line all day?
Reiki meditation is a very big part of my life. It helps
keep me grounded and focused during readings, while also protecting me from
absorbing others’ energy, negative or otherwise. It also keeps my chakra open, aligned,
and balanced. Overall, it is a very important tool for an Empath Psychic like
me to use.
What are fun things that you like to do in your
free time?
Some days I just like to hang out with the family and the kids, while on others, I like to hang out with my friends instead. I absolutely love to read, and when I need something comforting, I have a few favorite books that I always return to. Chakra Therapy is a very deep and intense book but it’s also very knowledgeable and has helped me a lot in my work. I adore Rhonda Burns’ set, The Secret, The Magic, and The Power, and read them all the time. Some new ones that are quickly joining that comfort pile are You are the Universe, Mastering Control Emotions, and the Harry Potter series.
Some days, of course, you just want to cuddle up with your life partner and get lost in a movie. We love a variety of genres, but my all-time favorite film is Gone with the Wind. We’ll sit down with that and dinner, and just have some quiet time.
Did you have a completely different career
path in your past?
I didn’t, actually! I have been self-employed since I was 18
years old. I love what I do though, and I’ve never had any other employment
beyond being a psychic reader. Now that I’m with California Psychics, I work
six days a week from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. and while that may sound like a lot, to
be quite honest with you, even though I enjoy my day off I really do look
forward to getting back on the phone and communicating with my callers. Talking
with them makes my day.
Have you helped a client in a memorable way?
I have helped several clients find missing objects before, and one, in particular, occurred recently. She had called me while searching for a coin purse that she hadn’t been able to locate for several months. Using Remote Viewing, I walked her through her home, and she was able to finally lay hands on it while she was talking to me! She was so happy.
I also have a few celebrity clients I’ve been reading with for a while now. One, a screenwriter, called me recently because they had some concerns about a script they were working on and were hesitating about whether they should change it. I advised them to leave it alone and submit it the way it was. While still nervous, my client took my advice, and we ended the session. A few days later, they called me back, clearly excited. They said, “Tyler, everything you told me about their expectations and what they were going to say to me was exactly as you predicted!” It’s moments like these that I look forward to the most. I love my clients, and I love doing what I do.
