Our Spiritual Journey

There are certain constants in the chaos of emotional distress. Everyone has a dream of what that need fulfillment looks like. It may not be well-formulated, but the feeling, once experienced, can never be trivialized or forgotten. Some may actually run from it – so powerful is the perceived risk to their well-being. So powerful is this universal need that all manner of decision-making, whether illusionary or not, is easily justified. The consequences simply do not matter, as long as that feeling can be restored. All human endeavor in every form seems to revolve around this single concept: self esteem.

Why are we all struggling with this issue? It seems that we came into life with this quality already embedded into our psyches. The nature vs. nurture debate will never be settled. I believe it is something much deeper, much more universal. I have approached this issue from multiple perspectives – namely, astrologically, biblically and Theosophically. I only ask you to consider my position.

Why is it that Pat Benatar, a Capricorn, has the mouth of a goat? Why can a good astrologer determine a person’s Sun sign by the shape of their hand? I could go on and on, but you get the point. The only explanation I can logically come up with is: spiritual prototypes or templates. “As above, so below.” WE, are the below.

Cast aside all religious judgment. According to Theosophical thought, there is only Source, followed by an impulse. The impulse created movement, but maybe one should say “creates movement,” since “created” implies a beginning, and I make no such assumption. The movement indicates Source manifesting as creation, resulting in polar opposites. Source we will call GOOD or GOD. Manifestation we will label EVIL or DEVIL.

The Bible refers to this movement as “The Fall of the Angels.” They are also referred to as “The Self-Willed.”

Now, we can see in all of nature that as the intellect increases from species to species, so does free will. Isn’t it likely that in the higher spiritual realms, this progression abides? It seems logical to me. Remember, freedom to choose is freedom to make mistakes. So, for a moment, let us assume that a mistake WAS made, at a high spiritual level, which in fact created this reality.

So, what is this reality and how are we connected to these “Self-Willed Prototypes” I believe that all of creation is the karmic consequence of this separation from Source, by high spiritual levels of consciousness. Each of us is a fragment of those energies, all operating at distinct vibrations, which can be read astrologically. We are each but karmic “fragments” of the 12 levels of spirit – hence, the zodiac. The “Original Sin” did not occur in this reality, yet we are connected to it by these karmic threads.

The “Pistis Sophia”, which is a Gnostic text, describes a conversation between Jesus and his apostles. One asks him where he came from. Jesus replies that he came from the 13th level. He was “sent.” Refer to Revelations and read that “24 kings sit at the right hand of God,” and “1/3 of the stars fell from the sky.” The stars that fell are the 12 signs of the zodiac. Collectively, it is you and I. Something in us knows that and this is why we all feel so alone, and not good enough. We are each, in our own way, now clawing our way back to Source, union. It is a sacred journey. For all we know, an endless cycle-the Breath of God.

I read that “journal” article. Very deep. We all have some sort of religious training created by man when we supposedly became too evil to agree w rulers and priests rules of life. Then even more rules by watchers watching the stars that are quite powerful and not controllable by man.
Now here we are at their mercy of interpretation what shall the unlearned person do w all this man made knowledge?
I am a cancer sign and if I believe all about moon child verse I am a lover yes to my depth no fighter. I don’t let go. Love to end. Nurse care husband for 15 yrs at home w no intimacy. Liked to dry up. Now I am working out preparing for next thirty yrs of deep loving after 57 yrs of faithful and intimate marriage
I can see nothing in all the stars indicating for me another thirty yrs of bliss. And I am determined to see that it happens. I am going for it w fruit diet and three workouts daily to secure my health and shape and figure. Where do the stars meet me to do exactly what I have in mind w a man who loves every inch of my mind and body and soul. I am sure somewhere in those far away heavenly bodies an answer is to be found. It is so lonely on this barren planet. Loving child

    Hi Fran
I miss you but thinking of you.I have a my weight issue but I think the one I lost weight with is my S& W diet.( Stress and worry) but its not the way to go. I did try evening of primrose and honest I did loose some weight with it.I am just glad I have lost about 15 lbs through the last year. And it was great to go down a bra size those buoys were getting to big and those bouncing betties were giving me black eyes I have to see the humor but seriously.I also heard about a health food one that seems to have success. Its helps metabailize the sugar and something else.I know sugar diabetes is huge in our family and I was on this sugar prescription and lost 20 lbs that was about 3years ago. I know my mom is on it and its the gene pool and its on both of my parents sides. So i guess loosing some even on the S&W diet helped. But I see all of you talking of food yummy!!My Mom makes a wicked apple pie crust.I read the comment you had for the week You said it right on the mark. If it werent for this blog it helps so much and so many people and make new friends like you Fran.Good luck with your diet dont go on mine. I hope it made a few laughs about the buoys. Its so hard to loose weight but dont give up anyone who has this. Its a tough one.But the encouragement given on this blog is such a blessing.Blessings and angels sent to you Fran

    Hi Sea Turtle!

Dinner & a concert with M (another physician, huh)….how fun! What concert are you going to? Interesting that you said you “hope you guys kinda like eachother”….that’s a good start. There must be something about him that you think is different and special.

Have a great time! And, let us know how it goes. Sorry my life is SO boring…not much to talk about in the “guy” department. Oh well, in my heart I know this is only a phase, I’ll enjoy it while it lasts 😉

    Talk to you soon!

Sending a big smile your way…as always!

    Hi Sea Turtle!

Thanks for your messages! How are you???? How was your weekend & your date?

I’ve been so busy lately, sorry I’ve been m.i.a. for a few days. I’m a florist and we are gearing up for one of the busiest days of the year…Valentines Day!

I read your post asking how I found you guys on the blog…actually I first posted comments a while back when it was on another thread…and have never felt drawn to comment since, until now. And to answer your other question about my situation…I’ll try to answer it really quick before I head off to work again…

I’m in the exact same boat as most of you are, funny huh? It’s that infamous “waiting game”. I started calling CP about 2 years ago when I parted ways with a man I loved. I started talking to Gina Rose and you know what she was ALWAYS right ( I have so many stories). At one point, this man was actually engaged and living with another woman and Gina Rose would tell me, that he would not stay with her. It sounded hopeless at the time but you know what? They did break up and they are no longer living together. Gina Rose was right…(that’s why my code name is Believer) 🙂 He and I keep in touch, see eachother here and there and I talk to him periodically. There is so much more to tell but I thought I’d give you the jist of my situation.

Now, I’m much more removed emotionally(not as obsessed). I’ve dated here and there and ready to open my heart to someone else if he doesn’t step up to the plate…I figure it’s his loss and I’m fine with it.

Sorry to bore everyone else reading this post. But, Sea Turtle now you kinda know my story… 🙂

    I don’t have a Valentine but I wish you a happy day.

Keep in touch. I’ll check in here when I can within the next few days.

    Sending love & a smile!

Dear Gina Rose, Believer, Cubes & ST,

Thank you all for your love and support, and your kind words and advice. I have a little update for you regarding my “family dysfunctionality!”

Yesterday was a bad day for me. I felt that after breaking the ice with my sister, she really wasn’t ready after all to make peace. I haven’t heard from her since then. And Gina, that’s exactly what you had told me would happen….that she just wouldn’t be ready and would not respond well to any attempts by me to make up. Seha confirmed this today. I guess the reason I felt so bad is because I felt so hurt.

Now, about my niece’s wedding. It is not going to be a “regular” wedding held at a reception hall. They’ve already had a marriage ceremony, and we’ve been invited to a reception which is taking place at the groom’s relative’s home. Not exactly a forum for avoiding any conflicts.

My niece called earlier in the week, and I’d been meaning to call her back, but I was honestly afraid to. I wasn’t sure what to say, or what her reaction would be, but I knew I had to speak to her. Well, Fate stepped in, because my niece called me this morning, and we spoke for nearly an hour! I think it went really well. Through many tears (I am such an emotional person), I explained how hurt I felt, and I told her how much I loved her. I also explained my side (and Mom’s side) of the story. She had only her mother’s story to go by, but now she understood everything. What’s funny is that everything I was feeling about the situation my sister is in with her new husband is EXACTLY how she and her siblings feel. He’s not even invited to the reception! Anyway, I told my niece that I didn’t think we’d be going to the party because I wanted to avoid any conflicts, and I didn’t want to upset her on her day. But I DID tell her that I’d love to celebrate with her and her new husband and take them and all of her siblings out to dinner with my family and have our own celebration. And she said she’d like that. So I think that in the end, everything worked out for the best….for right now anyway.

I feel good about my decision. I won’t be placing myself in any uncomfortable situations, but I made my niece know that I care about her and want us to be a family again. I feel confident that I did the right thing.

So thank you to all of my wonderful friends for thinking of me and sending such loving thoughts my way. I really felt them, and they helped big time!!

Gina, please, please be careful. I hope that groundhog doesn’t see his shadow!

    Hugs,
    Fran

    Hi Fran!

Here is my 2-cents on your situation…you handled it beautifully, with grace, love & good intention.

I’m feeling that it wouldn’t hurt to send (1) more note that says “Know that I’m here whenever you are ready to talk”.
That (in a nice way) puts the ball in her court and she will know that you are open to her as well. I get the impression that she isn’t very happy in her day to day life at all. Once she is in a better space she may feel more capable of reaching out to you and realizing that she misses you, too.

I applaud you for being brave and reaching out, you are a good woman and a great sister.

    Hi Jacqueline & Gina Rose,

I know we have a great connection. I felt it from the day we met. From the start he was always there by my side. My grandfather, who I was very close to, passed a week after we met and he was there every minute to make sure I stayed grounded. Fixed my car when another car hit my side mirror off..He was always committed to me. He gave me a platinum ring that was his, and told me it was for his commitment to me. We would talk 100 times a day. Up until we split up, he called me every night before I went to sleep to make sure he told me he loved me even though we would talk all throughout the day. He once told me I was the best thing that’s ever happened to him, that i teach him things, especially about just being himself. I wasn’t the only one who was very attached, he couldn’t go a day without talking to me. There were days he would call me up depressed because he missed me and wanted me there with him down in TX. He told me he wanted to marry me; and that he wanted me to give him a beautiful daughter. Said he knows his daughter would be beautiful because her mother is very beautiful.

He liked my family, he liked how we used to all get together for meals. My 2 year old nephew still brings him up..When he plays with his little cars, he’ll pick up his little truck and say Roy’s name and points him out when he sees his pictures.

His friends all told him how much of a nice girl I was. His best friend’s wife got attached to me when she met me; me and her had such a great connection. She told me he did nothing but talk about me and that it made her excited to meet me..They all called me his wife. I felt at home when I was down there for the first time and it scared me. I felt like I was back home, that I was visiting NJ. When I walked into his house for the first time, it felt like I had always lived there; that I was away and came back home. I never had that feeling before…And he wanted to take me to Kenya in the future to meet his parents and to London to meet his 2 sisters, but I met his other 2 sisters that live in TX.

He was always a very important part of my life since we met. I always knew i wanted to have a future and a family with him.

    Big Hugs,
    Rosemarie

Hi Gina Rose & Miss Krystal,

I don’t think I feel a strong need to learn about astrology. I like consulting with the two of you and will continue to go that route.

But, I do notice certain characteristics that seem to be true in our “signs”.

    Thanks for the tips.

    Have a good day!

    Dear Gina Rose, Miss Krystal,
    Fran & Brown Eyes,

Thanks you for your support and friendship!

I just got in from a date with a wonderful man. Honestly, this is the “nicest date” that I have had since my divorce! I had a wonderful time!

He is a very intelligent man, which is my first requirement, LOL! Okay, we’re all attracted to different things, but intelligence is a turn on to me. I get bored easily if the conversation is not stimulating! LOL!

Anyway, he is such a gentleman and I felt so safe and cared for.

He is an professional (not a doctor this time) an attorney and businessman. He is of the Jewish faith, I am a Christian. But, I don’t think that would be a problem.

We are going out again tomorrow and he has already asked me if I would consider seeing him next weekend as well.
    I said, “yes”.

So, I am having fun. Like him…so far.

He is HUGE, like a football player!

    So, we will see…

Sure beats sitting around “pining away” for “Oldee”…

    Hugs to you all,

    Hello All,
I have to comment on the Leo’s. I’m surrounded by them. My father is a Leo, my son Levi is a double Leo sun & moon, my moon is in Leo and my bset friend is a Leo. Leo’s are fun, outgoing, sensitive, do well in the spotlight, praise and appreciation will get you their attention. Leo’s like thier mane’s petted (you know King of the Jungle) Leo’s are very sensitive about their appearence and are usually known for good looks and beautiful hair. They do well in acting (the arts or creative things)They do not like to be told what to do. The sure fire way to get rid of a Leo is to ignore them, tell them what to do, unappreciate them, talk about yourself, monopolize the conversation, contradict them Leo will soon be gone to be King or Queen in some other part of the jungle.

    Many Blessings

    Hi….

I mentioned the new moon Solar eclipse in virgo earlier today…..and lo & behold….

    Just saw on CNN,…..
a 5.6 earthquake in Sucre, Venezuela this morning….

I still firmly believe eclipses affect weather.

I’ve tracked eclipses for over 25 years….it’s become like a hobby.

Phillip, this is so wierd, but in a dream, I was told to look up, I thought is was Phillip R. Block or Phillip L. Brock. I googled the heck outa both those names and came to a dead end. Then it clicked. I was being directed to look up “Phillip’s Blogs”! (duh!) Must be something here for me I guess.I never paid attention until I caught a blog where Gina Rose was mentioning learning from you. Gina Rose has been keeping me sane during a relationship melt down, so I pay attention when that lady speaks. And yes, it does sound very much like quantum physics. I’d love to sit and have coffee with you and pick your brain, Phillip. But I’ll be listening in, something must be here for me….

    Fran,
Over the last 37 years of working with people as a psychic, there is a pattern that emerges when we are attempting to “balance the scale”-especially when we are the “givers” in relationships and friendships. You’ve definitely taken the first step in identifying yourself as the “giver” and acknowledging to yourself that you wish to achieve balance in your relationships and friendships.
I’d be pleased to discuss the subsequent steps with you any time.
Phillip, thank you for another article with true depth.

I WISH I could just recalibrate that darn scale!!
I understand what you’re saying about learning how to do relationships. I seem to always want to please my partner, whether it’s in love or friendship, and in the effort to do so, I always seem to be coming in last place. There is definitely a balance needed here, a balance I need to find, so that I can have any relationship (friendships and otherwise) where there is an equal give and take.
I remember what you’ve told me about “bandaids,” and I’m trying real hard to follow that sage advice.
But as far as the scale is concerned, I don’t know if I’ll ever find balance! One day it’s up, the next day it’s down, then back up again… Can’t I just chuck it out the window??? LOL! LOL!

Hi Fran, You are here to learn how to do relationships. Though very important to Librans, they do not know how to do do them. Libra represents a new phase in the cycle. the shift is from self to relationships. the scale issue is more about trying to find balance. I know what you are saying though about the scale. maybe it just needs to be recalibrated sweety.

We are all down here to learn, to grow and evolve , sometimes it’s not an easy or pretty process…..
however, most people don’t realize…. we all incarnated into this lifetime with everything we need to overcome our obstacles,( many self-imposed,some are Karmic ), and to succeed….
We came into this life ” equipped ” for success.
