Why Women Love the Geeks

For the Love of a Geek

It’s time to tackle some stereotypes about geeks and perhaps gain some valuable insights into the potential for a most rewarding beauty-and-the-geek love story.

Nice Guys Don’t Always Finish Last

While the stereotype is out there that women like being treated poorly by jerky bad boys, any woman who’s dated a few bad apples has likely learned some hard lessons and is ready to try out the guy who is boyishly sweet and attentively adorable. If she has healthy self-esteem, then she’s looking for someone who will treat her with respect, sweetness, and perhaps a touch of romanticism. Arrogant, critical, self-absorbed studs get old fast and ultimately teach women the lessons they need to learn.

It is The East, and Juliet is The Sun

While a geek may never have as smooth a delivery as Romeo, his intentions can be just as pure. Relationships are about genuine effort and expressing your feelings, and if he’s trying his best to please you and romance you, any potentially awkward romantic gestures can come off as adorably sweet and well-intentioned.

The “He’s Attractive and He Knows It” Complex

This popular phrase was built on those men who think that their good looks mean they are forgiven every imaginable fault and dating faux pas. Extremely attractive, suave men tend to attract women more quickly and easily, thus potentially taking a woman’s attentions for granted. Your dreamy geek could knock Sinatra out of the park with his down-to-earth approach, perspective and genuine appreciation for your company.

…But Can He Hold a Conversation

Never underestimate stimulating conversation in dating and relationships. Indeed, while the sex may be great, there’s got to be other mutual interests, and being able to carry on intellectual conversation is a big one. Not only is smart sexy, it goes a long way towards great company and is an excellent mental tool to possess when facing the myriad challenges life throws your way.

Being Handy is Also Hot

Another benefit geekdom can bring to your relationship! If your wonder-geek can fix your computer problems, score you the latest coolest gadget, or troubleshoot any electronic glitch, appreciate his expertise for the exceptional everyday asset it is!

“Don’t be desperate. Be seductive but also be willing to let what you’re wanting to attract go. It’s something about this energy that makes you more attractive.” – Psychic Leo ext. 5265

Gina Rose ! You have humour I like that!!! LOL LOL :/) We in the UK have had nothing but rain for the last six weeks, hardly any sun to cheer us up, I love the sun, so invigorating and uplifting, but at least with a telescope you can see a brighter evening and cheerful sights.

I thought this lovely article was a sock in the eye for the MACHO GUY!!! In the end relationships are built on respect, trust, love gained from listening learning and evolving together, not admiration on looks alone and the show off! Geeks are people with fabulous imagination and a thirst for knowledge and lifes charisma. Great article, well written and encouraging.

Give me a ” geek “, with a powerful telescope, and interest in astronomy,… and we will gaze lovingly up at the bright moon and starry night in each other’s arms.

    Loved this article !!!!

Give me a geek anyday…….probably because I consider myself to be a bit geeky.
By the way, that label ” geek ” , to me anyway , means intelligent and creative and caring.
