Interpreting Your Reading

I often hang up from a reading and wonder how my words have been taken.

I make every attempt to speak in plain, clear language, since so much of what a psychic says can be open to interpretation. But I still can’t control how people apply what I’ve said. I try to give as much information as I can, as fast as I can, in order to keep the client’s costs down – you can see how that might possibly compromise how any client receives my words. I’m sure I speak for all of us when I say that the way you interpret the information has a lot to do with your overall satisfaction with your experience with California Psychics.

A wise, old dead guy once told me that I should never ask a question unless I am fully prepared to hear the answer – no matter which way it goes. His words seemed kind of confusing until I started asking questions that had answers I didn’t like, and I realized that I was wasting valuable time fighting for a position rather than allowing my position to be dictated by the facts presented. That reading taught me that instead of trying to find clever ways around the oracle, my mind was put to much better use by finding clever ways to get around my difficult circumstances. In all situations in life, we have two choices: to plug into the positive outlet or the negative one, and no one can do that for us. We MUST do that for ourselves. Remember, the end of one thing always begets the beginning of something else. You may not be able to control what happens, but you can always control what you do with your circumstances.

If an oracle only told us what we wanted to hear every time, it wouldn’t be accurate. And just as in life, one should never shoot the messenger. Remember that hearing bad news in a psychic reading is far, far better than hearing bad news in life – because it’s still advance information. You still have the chance to change, to exercise your free will and make new life decisions that will put you on a new course. An omen of bad things to come can often be one of the best gifts we can be given – because it gives us a chance to avoid those bad things actually happening. You wouldn’t get angry at a road sign that says “falling rocks next twenty feet.” You would simply take a different road.

If a psychic gives you bad news, count yourself lucky. Not only does that mean that you’re talking to a psychic with integrity, it also means that you’ve likely been given a chance to change your path. And if not, then you still have the chance to face your future with your eyes open, and focusing on the positive, instead of being taken by it unaware.

Just wanted to add this bit of wisdom I found after posting earlier…

“When we meet real tragedy in life, we can react in two ways—either by losing hope and falling into self-destructive habits, or by using the challenge to find our inner strength.” –Dalai Lama

Hi, Samantha! Thanks for the great article! I especially love what you said here: “In all situations in life, we have two choices: to plug into the positive outlet or the negative one, and no one can do that for us.” That is absolutely the truth. If we learn well the lessons we are offered, the negative will no longer seem like a choice.

It’s never easy to be faced with difficult circumstances in life. There are so many things over which we have no control. But even in those situations, we still have a choice to embrace the difficulties, learn from them and figure out how to make progress. Or we can embrace the negativity and wallow in it, which is, unbelievably, the easier of the two choices. It takes so much courage and determination to overcome obstacles, and sometimes it’s hard not to give up. It’s easier to give in to the negativity and be swallowed by it, rather than face it and get rid of it. Taking the easy road won’t get us as far as we want to go–it is the journey down the more difficult road that will ultimately lead to a better place in life. (Think Robert Frost!)

Recently I’ve been met with all sorts of road blocks in my path. So many of them have come from things that I thought were going well, and then suddenly became a hinderance. It’s been frustrating to say the least, but it has made me more determined to find a way to get where I am going. There were times in my life that I gave up for a while and resigned myself to the fact that my life was never going to change, no matter what I did. Eventually I came to understand that it wasn’t just about changing my life, but also about changing myself. And now in the face of these roadblocks, giving up isn’t a choice for me. My momentum may have slowed for the time being, but I can do nothing but move forward.

    WOW…..another excellent article……

There are responsibilities that come with being gifted……Karmic responsibilities…..when I read, or teach budding young psychics….I make sure they understand , before anything else, that to make a mistake is one thing, but to tell people what they want to hear is very bad Karma. I’ve died twice and crossed over twice, …..third time being the charm I figure….I will be held accountable for every reading I’ve ever given.
The truth will set a person free to pursue happiness elsewhere.
