Gratitude Raises Your Vibration
November is the month of gratitude. It’s when most of us take the time to think about what we are grateful or thankful for. I sat down with Psychic Stevie ext. 5778 to get her thoughts about how to feel more grateful, how to appreciate the little things in life, and how to show our loved ones that they’re appreciated.

How goes gratitude work?
Gratitude is the key to manifestation. By staying in a state of gratitude you naturally raise your vibration and with that, you are a completely open channel to receiving your desires. However, the reverse is also true. If you stay in a ungrateful space, you will be in a very low vibration and therefore open to more things that will match that space. You are a magnet—remember that!
What if I feel like I have nothing to be grateful for?
A couple years ago I was going through a particularly difficult time. All I saw was what wasn’t working and how bad I felt. I knew I had to do something to pull myself out of the rabbit hole I was entering. So, I bought myself an inexpensive $3 blank journal, which I call my Appreciation Journal. On the inside cover I wrote, “My Appreciation Journal.” This journal would serve as a daily reminder of all the good showered on me by the universe.
I admit that it was hard to get started, because I was not able to see anything good. But, I made myself write things. I was grateful that my aging dog played like he was a puppy at the park. I was grateful for the coupon I found at the store next to an item I was going to buy. I even included that I liked an outfit someone else was wearing at the coffee shop. Every day I wrote down as many things as I could think of, and I came to realize that I had many things to be grateful for in a single day.
For the Dark Days
On those dark, challenging days, when I’m feeling in the pits, I pick up my journal, open it to a random page, and read it. Just reading what I’m grateful for puts me in a better place. This activity has turned my life around, and it has made me a stronger magnet for the things I do want in my life, rather than the things I do not want in my life.
If you are struggling with challenges that bring you down, and you want to attract good things, I suggest you start an appreciation journal of your own.
How can I learn to be grateful for the small things in life?
Sometimes, we are looking for “grand gestures” from the universe and we think we can only be grateful for those things. That’s simply not true. The little things should be appreciated, too. Put yourself back into the headspace of your five-year-old self. Remember how you could turn a hairbrush into a microphone or build a fort out of blankets? Be that kid again and observe the world around you. See the butterflies, hear the music and get lost in it all. Appreciate what is around you, no matter how great or how small!
How can I show my loved ones that I’m grateful for them?
We tend to take our loved ones for granted and because we do that, they often feel unappreciated. Let’s stop doing that. It’s important to tell those around you how you feel about them. Let them know that you notice everything they do for you. Even though you take love for granted, you don’t mean to, but be conscious of it. Tell and show your loved ones that you are grateful for them and do it often. Everyone likes to be shown appreciation for the kind things they do for others. Many of my callers say that they wished their loved ones, friends, coworkers or bosses recognized and appreciated what they did for them. Chances are, your loved ones feel the same way.
Thanks, Psychic Stevie, for your wise words. Make November the month you start appreciating the gifts the universe has already given to you!

Hail and Well Met, Lady Seren !!!
I so agree with you on showing courtesy to our relatives and Elders…..courtesy is sign of respect , but also shows that one is grateful to have them in their lives.
Blessed Be )O(

Lady Gina Rose,
I agree that, although the month of November has become the focus of what I will refer to as the “gratitude movement” due to its association with the Thanksgiving holiday here in the US, we should be grateful each and every day that we open our eyes and draw breath.
We should be especially mindful of expressing our gratitude to our loved ones. I remember one visit to my dad… my stepmother, noticing that my daughter and I always said, “Please” and “Thank you” to each other commented on the politeness we expressed. I pointed out to her that I felt my family members deserved at least the modicum of appreciation I would show to a stranger, if not more so. I still feel that way. 🙂
Brightest blessings to you and yours,
A lovely, insightful article.
I, too, have been keeping what I refer to as my “grace journal” for quite a few years now. In it I note moments of grace that I have witnessed throughout my day.
Its purpose is twofold: On good days, it lifts my spirits even more as it balances out all of the negative things I hear or see and, on not so good days, it serves as a reminder of better times I have had and will again have.
Either way, it certainly beats focusing on the negatives.
Wishing you much to be appreciative of,
I agree, you are so right !

True gratitude and compassion are acts of selflessness with no expectations of any reward.
“It is under the greatest adversity that there exists the greatest potential for doing good, both for oneself and others.”
― Dalai Lama XIV
Being in state of gratitude and expecting a reward on the premise that the Universe will manifest good things in ones life – I hav’nt seen too much evidence of that.
My experience is that perhaps if this is combined with appropriate meditation
then perhaps small rewards may occur, when we least expect them.
Nice article….all very true.
But I wonder why the month of November is the month of gratitude ? I’m assuming because of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Every month should be a month for gratitude , and every day should be a day to give thanks.
Raising vibrations takes patience and consistency, day to day.
I see too many people show gratitude thru the holidays , and then, slip back into old thought patterns as soon as those holidays are gone.
So, I would say that November is a good month to start a new tradition of giving thanks and showing compassion throughout the year, on a day to day basis, if only in little ways.
Blessed Be )O(

How to deal with appretiation and gratitude if one of my loved ones is always unhappy. It’s my mother, she never smiles, laugh, is not greateful, she compains, she is agressive, I think she doesn’t like/love anybody. I tried very hard tp be a nice for her and to do nice things for her , she is not able appreciate it, she always finds the way to complain and hurt peoplewhoe love her or used to love her, because she turns everyone off. . She doesnt respect anybody, extremaly difficult person, selfish, stubborn. I’ve given up on our relationship. I have wanderfull daugter, friends, cats, I am so blessed , grateful, every day say tens time thank you God/ Universe for it

What a great idea Stevie,a appreciation journal sounds just what I need to be doing right now at this point in my life. Thanks.
happy Sunday everyone,
gratitude is the gold in our hearts that keep us strong –
here is a little practice I do to offer gratitude to the universe.
What you need for your altar:
– Gold or Green Candles
– Any oils that you want like,Rose or Cinnamon
– Pictures of family members (I put pets too)
– A bowl of fruit (sometimes I use candy)
– Slips of paper
– An empty bowl or jar
Think about your life and all you are grateful for. Write on the slips of paper all of your blessings. Then repeat the following while taking the paper and putting them into the bowl or jar: (this is a very basic prayer)
“Grateful am I this day,
Grateful in all I do and say;
Thankful to the great Divine (universe)
All I have asked for is now mine.
Grateful true for all blessings received
Grateful for all good given to me.”
Keep the bowl or jar on or near your altar all year round, adding more gratitude notes throughout the year. Whenever you are feeling down and have low energy, take time to read your notes in the gratitude jar. This will give you a feel good moment or two 🙂
I am grateful for my life…
AM ALWAYS GRATEFUL TO GREAT UNIVERSE & ALSO ALL MY GREAT LOVE’S FRIENDS OUT THERE,AM REALLY SO GLAD TO YOU ALL FOR YOU GREAT EFFORT IN MY LIFE
