My reading with Kim this morning was truly amazing. We jumped right into it, and I felt so connected to her almost immediately, which doesn’t always happen for me, especially during readings. Kim shared with me her love of soap operas and confessed to being addicted to them in her youth. I told her that I’m watching one Colombian one on Netflix that has been a source of healing for me as it plays out lots of my family trauma. She advised me to look for intuitive information from the soap. We often discuss these clues and how they have helped me to move forward.
Kim warned me that a friend I’ve known for 25 years would no longer be a good one, especially since she met a man online and became obsessed with him. I didn’t believe her at first because I’ve known my college roommate for 25 years but Kim turned out to be right as this ‘friend’ ceased all communication and acted like she never knew me.
Kim saw details of my life that she was able to glean without asking questions—the racism I experienced, the bullying and abuse from extended family, my parents’ neuroticism abs guilt about being successful and then feeling the urge to over-give as an result. What an incredible talent!
Kim forecasted lots of new adventures for me, which would also include meeting new friends, my artistic tribe//people who truly get me. This has been happening already—I’ve met two new friends who are truly sincere and heartfelt and love the creative journey. Generous people who reciprocate my kindness, for once I’m not not doing all the giving.
Kim observed that while my generosity has been a great facet of my character, now it’s time to extend that generosity to myself. Hold back, she advised—your whole life you’ve been giving to others and now that you’re grieving your dad and making a life for yourself you need to take care of you, without guilt. Her advice not only proves her compassion but also her total understanding of me, my psyche and life story.
Kim advised me to not initiate calls with a friend who moved, to let her call abs make contact. Kim observed that in a lot of friendships I was always the one being generous and that holding back would help me to see people’s true colors. This advice has been very helpful for my overall health.
