Red Responds: What About Paris?

S. in California writes:

I’ve always been attracted to the French language and in particular, Paris. I even studied International Relations with the hope I would end up where I felt I belong. But this has never panned out. If it’s not meant to be, why the allure and attraction?

Dear S.,

I know that you are a bit frustrated with things as they are, but don’t give up and throw in the towel just yet. Sometimes, things pan out when they are supposed to, rather than when we want them to.

All things France are attractive to you because you have been there before, in several past lives. While you may not be able to recall the details or fully understand your affinity on a conscious level, your subconscious mind is astute and alert.

In this life, Paris is not out of reach. While I can’t say for certain that you will call Paris your home, I do see that you will enjoy the time you spend there. Some of the less tourist-ee parts of Paris and Southern France hold romantic memories, and when you visit, will bring on some moments of deja vu. You may want to explore things a bit more deeply, possibly with a past-life reading or regression.

Your fascination with the French culture ultimately will serve you well. I see you spending at least two consecutive months in France, but this is still several years away. I’m not certain if it is career related or a glorious vacation, but you will bond with several people during your stay.

This will open the doors for you to visit often, and it’s the people, more so than the place, that makes you feel as if you belong. You will often visit Paris when you are in France, and you also will grow quite familiar with Spain. Any way I look at it, there is quite a bit of international travel waiting for you in the future.

I hope this helps!
