My Heart and My Head Don’t Agree

Hello,

I’ve been with a guy for a year now. He’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a guy, but for whatever reason, I do not feel the excitement I was dreaming of when I was looking for love. I thought I would be head over heels when I found a guy like him, but previous  heartbreak is keeping me on the cautious side. There’s no one else I’d rather be with. I can’t explain what is holding me back. Is it my past? Should I trust in what we have, or is something wrong with this relationship?
