The Golden Age of 2012 Starts Now!

In Ancient Egypt, they knew that just as the Sun sets in the West, a new dawn would follow. The only reference to death in the older Egyptian Sufi language was to say that the individual went “west-ing.” They had no word for death in their language.

From this so called “primitive” philosophy and concept, the pyramids of Egypt were created – feats of men that were once thought to only be accomplishable by Gods. Even now, we don’t possess the technology to recreate a pyramid like the one on the plains of Giza in Egypt. There is so much to be said for this idea of man having an existence that transcends death. There is much power and wisdom available to a human being when he or she aspires to a nature higher than that of an animal.

Ponder the idea that earlier societies and civilizations, who created great monuments and works impossible by today’s standards, knew that they were not this body, and that they believed that they shared this eternity in common with God (or the Gods). These were periods of time when men aspired to be more than mere animals, and were!

If, in 2010, scientists are to succeed in convincing us that we are just like any other animal upon the face of the earth, and no more, what have they accomplished but sending us back to the dark ages, where only the “pack” that you belong to and your own survival are all that matter? “It’s a dog eat dog world” is a quote that comes to mind. Equality between men and women cannot exist in a society that takes on the philosophy that man is just a human animal. The strongest among the pack determines the rules, and that usually puts women on the bottom. We are so much more than that as beings. When man aspires to the heights that an animal cannot even comprehend of, he achieves the impossible and more, a godlike quality indeed.

We are the creators of our environment. We adjust to it best when we co-operate with others. Co-operation and agreements are held sacred by enlightened people and civilizations. Respect for your peers, and the creation of a future in harmony with others, are all hallmarks of an enlightened society.

The moments when men and women have been at their best to create are when the idea of personal inadequacy has ceased to exist. These moments make for the Golden Ages of Man.

A Golden Age for an individual begins when they realize that the path to personal enlightenment can be followed at any time. Your choice determines whether or not your feet ever reach that path. It is in this quest to become enlightened that salvation lies, and the hope of a future for mankind and our children… and for you. Aspiring to be all that you truly can be is a spiritual quest. It is a choice. It is a journey. It is freedom. It is eternity.

With 2012 around the corner, instead of fears of doom, let’s create a new Golden Age! It’s a small planet. It’s not getting any bigger. And we’re all in this together.

As soon as I read the first three words, the tears started to flow. As I read fuerthr, I could barely read the words but I pressed on. When I finished I LET GO.I have always needed to make things perfect, have a step by step plan. Talk to people, get everyone’s opinion, pray about it, write about it, go see a psychic about it and then I never did it. I would talk myself out of it and keep all of the hurt, fear and judgements until the next new thing came along that would allow me to Let it go (again).Today, I and the God within me, made a decision and I’m sticking with it.

    Darcy,
Always love your articles dear one. Gina Rose love your comments here too … if we’d all slow down just a bit and take notice of the beauty around us and perhaps someone we could lend a hand to. It makes a huge difference when you help someone karmically and it feels good too!

    Blessings to all, Faith ext.9608

Gina Rose I couldn’t agree more, we must start to have compassion for everyone around, it is about love and kindness, its no longer about me me me…..

One thing to remember is that next time it could be you in the line short $8.46 cents.

    Great big hugs!

    Hi Darcy,

    Once again a fabulous article,

As we enter into this energy of the 2012, one big thing to consider is letting go, letting go of fear as well as an attachment to an outcome.
We are entering into a time of great awakening, as an individual, but it will evolve into a whole, as one being changes, one person becomes highly aware of mother earth, others around them, changes them-self, this does grow, everyone right now is being effective in some way or another.

But remember there is so much good that can and definitely will come of this, its a great time to be alive.

    Blessings and Big Hugs!

    And PS…..

It was a DOUBLE Karmic ” brownie-point ” moment this morning for me….not so much because I helped out a young mother,( because I do that stuff all the time)…….

……BUT, and this is what I’m really proud of, the big Karma here came into play when :…..
….. I kept the ” red-headed child ” side of me in check, and didn’t go off verbally to the ” lady ” , and I use that term loosely here, LOL, who was standing two people in the BACK of the line, who was doing the loud groaning, moaning and rolling her eyes at being inconvenienced.
(I have a rep, since the first grade……LOL…, for defending the underdog).

So…..it was ” double brownie Karmic points for me.
And I’m done ranting about mean people now…..he he

    Hi Darcy,

Nice article……very true. Ya know, that dog eat dog mentality is starting to really ” irk ” me !

I was at the little grocery store in my mountain town this morning, a young mother in her twenties with 3 small kids, all under the age of 6 was in front of me in line. The young mother came up short paying for a few simple items…..her bill was a ridiculous small amount $ 8.46, she was flustered and highly embarassed, and the people in back of me in line were groaning and rolling their eyes …….I know the elderly cashier lady so I told her just to put it on my tab….the young mother thanked me and left. ( I thought…” big deal “…$ 8.46 ).

BUT, the people in line stared at me, blankly, as if I had 3 heads! I felt like saying to them ” Haven’t you ever seen a small act of kindness “?
    But I was a good girl, ( LOL ),… and left without saying a word….. but I thought ” Gee…..what a world we live in “.

It all starts with the individual…..anybody, ANYBODY, can make a difference….it doesn’t even have to take much time or money.

    Blessed Be )O(
