Is There Justice in the Universe?

Is there justice in the universe? Or do we live in a universe of pure chaos? Psychic Phillip weighs in on the issue, explaining that there IS justice… as long as you have the right attitude:

“I have repeatedly made the statement to people that ‘There IS justice in this universe. There had better be, or we are ALL in a lot of trouble.’ I personally believe that most, if not all, of the readers here assume full responsibility for everything good or bad that comes their way. Energetically, we all attract what we need to grow and transform. When we fight what the universe brings us and resist the transformation, we experience misery. When we accept responsibility and make the necessary changes, peace follows. This is how we master ourselves. This is how we master our lives. Everything that has ever happened to me, good and bad, is MY fault. With that insight comes true liberation. I am in full control to change whatever is not working for me. No one to blame. No excuses. No ‘whining.’”

What do you think – can we achieve personal empowerment this way?

    Hi Phillip,

You know what come to mind as I read your article. The “Serenty Prayer”.
Self reflection is often one of the kindest but hardest truths we can offer ourselves.

Thank you for reminding me of such a powerful prayer.

    Blessings,

You make an excellent point, Diadriel. Responsibility is a better word than blame, and we have to accept responsibility for our own actions/reactions in order to make things right in our own world. 🙂

I find I hear many people spend hours and hours complaining about what isn’t right in their life. As I listen I can see them sinking farther and farther into the dark pool of things they wish would change. It’s hard to explain to people that the universe does not hear the “no” “not” and other terms we use. Meaning that when we say ” I don’t want to be in debt” it makes perfect sense to me that as we repeat these words like debt the key word the word the universe hears the key feeling the direct line we have to the universe, the feeling of helplessness we get just that debt and helpless ness. That is why hope is so important. We have to change the way we speak the words we choose because they directly effect what we feel. So instead what does one say you may ask. Well say what you want not what you don’t want. Say: I want to be financially independent. I want to be financially secure. I am hopeful that everything will turn out for the best for me and for all of us. With that said, I believe in us, in all of us, in all our glorious imperfect. I believe we are miraculous, I believe we are just as powerful in creation as we are in destruction. I believe we are capable of changing our reality and making it what ever we want. So what do you want out of today? Everyday I ask myself and when with friends I ask them as well. If you can dream it it will be, be it disaster or glory! Your neutral emotional state should be quiet joy! Peace!

I would not use the words “is MY fault”. As you continue to say, there is no one to “blame”. For me, it is more ” Everything for a reason – because the Universe serves, respects and loves me, and I reciprocate, it creates for me the perfect day/situation/etc. to LEARN the lessons I am here to learn; hence, every day/moment is perfect and I am perfect and in the perfect situation for me to learn what I am here to learn and do.

As always, Phillip, you find the most direct way to get to the real issue…reminds me what William James said:

“Each of us literally chooses, by his way of attending to things, what sort of universe he shall appear to himself to inhabit.”

It is really hard to find ourselves in the midst of difficult circumstances and then point the finger of blame in our own direction. It isn’t that we would intentionally cause ourselves such misery in life. Certainly there are contributing factors beyond our control. But I agree totally with Phillip that it is how we react to what comes our way that ends up leading us down life’s path. It isn’t the things in life–it’s how we react to them.

We have control over nothing but ourselves and no one else to blame when it comes to how we live our lives. We can either buck up and accept that life sucks at times, and then move on to get to a much better place for ourselves; or we can stay miserable right where we are, hoping that those around us will accept what ever pieces of the blame we try to pass off.

When we accept the blame, we can learn from our mistakes. It’s the refusal to admit to them as mistakes and learn from them that will keep us where we are. Of course, it’s far easier to see our own mistakes after we have made them but they are always valuable lessons within them.

So truly and beautifully written, Phillip…thank you!

I totally agree, although it’s hard for us sometimes to accept that full responsibility. Probably because then we know only we can change things and that can be overwhelming or down right scary!
    Great Post & comments too!

What a great article! It is so true that “What you resist persists”.
Taking resposiblity for our own growth and
embracing change is what can move us forward.

Wonderful article, Phillip. You have taught me this in my readings with you, that the universe will continue to bring us what we need to learn, until we do learn and grow from it. My ex never took responsibility for the bad things that came his way, and always placed blame somewhere else. Much suffering can happen in the time that it takes to accept responsibility. Unfortunately it took me a long time to take action against what wasn’t working for me. Mastering ourselves is really a simple concept, but sometimes so hard to do! Hugs to you my friend, I feel that we have a karmic connection somehow, or I wouldn’t have been drawn to you for readings. What wonderful lessons you teach, thank you.
