Make the Most of Being Single on Valentine’s Day

Make the Most of Being Single on Valentine's Day

Your Valentine’s Day Survival Guide

We all have an ideal of what Valentine’s Day should be like. Do you feel like you need to have someone (anyone) just so you don’t feel alone? Whatever the greeting card companies and flower shops tell us, many of us tend to believe, and we feel sad when Valentine’s Day doesn’t meet our expectations.

What’s Changed Since Grade School

I remember being in grade school and hoping to get a card from a secret admirer. But  the boys were always too scared to give cards, so all I got were cards from the girls. Not much changed when I was in high school. I was hoping to get a carnation from some boy, but when I didn’t, I sent flowers to myself! I sure was popular that day!

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve spent many Valentine’s Days alone. I used to wonder what was wrong with me. But, I’ve come to realize that there is nothing wrong with me. If you find yourself single and alone on Valentine’s Day, embrace it. Here’s how to feel empowered when it feels like everyone else in the world but you is in love.

Don’t Beat Yourself Up!

Who you are and how wonderful you are have nothing to do with who you’re dating (or not dating). Many people beat themselves up for being single on yet another Valentine’s Day, but you shouldn’t have to apologize for being alone or blame yourself. There’s nothing wrong with being alone until you find someone you truly care about and who truly cares about you. In the meantime, have a positive, loving relationship with yourself!

When Did Being Single Become Terrible?

Some people think it’s better to be in a flawed relationship than it is to be single. When did being single become such a terrible thing to be? There are far more terrible things in life to be or experience than being single on Valentine’s Day or any other day for that matter. I believe it’s more pleasurable and beneficial to be in a healthy relationship with yourself, than in an unhealthy relationship with someone else.

Just because you’re single, it doesn’t mean you’re unloved. Show the rest of the world that being single is wonderful—even on Valentine’s Day. Remember, you are not the only person feeling lonely on this day. I’m here to remind you of your self-worth. I’m here to remind you that you are a whole person who has room for love when it comes in, but also that you don’t need to be in a relationship to feel complete.

Love Yourself, Treat Yourself!

Take the time to do something nice for yourself on Valentine’s Day. Visit a spa, indulge in something sweet and decadent, and watch a great movie. And we’ll have plenty of psychics working the phones on Valentine’s Day if you feel like a reading. Maybe you want to know more about your soul mate. We’d be happy to tell you want you want to know!

Be good to yourself on Valentine’s Day—and every other day of the year. If you feel good about yourself, you’ll attract your special someone because they’ll be attracted to your confidence.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Love and Light,

Psychic Asia ext. 5486

THANK YOU for a fabulous, heartfelt, to the soul article. Ladies, get a massage, take your BFF and go see Fifty Shades and enjoy wine and dinner, even by yourself!
