With the Sun making its annual move into the sign of Scorpio on October 23, our Scorpio friends should really have the chance to come out from behind the curtain and let their light shine over the next month. So if you’re a Scorpio, or if you’d just like to understand the Scorpios in your life, here’s a look at what they are all about and the events that will occur in their birth month.
Scorpio, the eighth sign of the zodiac, is a Water sign and, like all Water signs, they tend to be somewhat intuitive and emotional. They’re inclined to be secretive or mysterious, and this can sometimes be perceived as sexy or alluring. As a rule, they generally prefer to keep things to themselves as much as possible. Others might have a bit of a hard time trying to figure them out, and it can take quite a while for anyone to really get to know a Scorpio. But once they do, they may be a bit surprised by the intensity of their emotions.
Their passion and determination truly propel them, but they have to be careful to keep themselves focused on positive pursuits or their obsessive energies can lead them into some potentially destructive directions. Scorpios rarely do anything halfway – and that applies to love and hate as well!
It’s generally not a good idea to cross a Scorpio. They’re not exactly the forgiving type. In fact, they’re probably capable of carrying a grudge for longer than just about anyone. But when the chips are down, they can also prove to be one of the most loyal and devoted friends that anyone could ever have!
With the Sun in your sign during your birthday month from October 23 to November 21, Scorpios will feel a fresh burst of energy. Since Mars will be in Cancer throughout the month, be prepared to be unusually busy when it comes to travel and educational matters. Just be careful that your abundant energy doesn’t lead you to be a little too reckless.
With Mercury still retrograde until November 1, remember that there might still be some confusion and misunderstandings for you to deal with until the end of October. And with the retrograde Mercury backing into Libra on October 23, you might find yourself feeling particularly quiet and withdrawn over the next few weeks, which might not be such a bad thing since it could help you to stay out of trouble. Your patience could be tested a bit when the full moon arrives on October 26, which brings any relationship problems out into the open.
Fortunately, on November 1, the final Mercury retrograde of the year will come to an end, and some of the confusion and misunderstandings that you’ve been dealing with over the past few weeks will finally begin to clear up. Once Venus enters Libra on November 8, things might start to slow down for you in romantic matters through the end of the month. But don’t worry, you should be able to get the ball rolling again in December.
The new moon on November 9 will bring you the chance to make some fresh starts and new beginnings, so don’t hesitate to get out there and take the bull by the horns. Once Mercury moves into Scorpio on November 11, you might find yourself feeling much more talkative and outgoing than usual for the rest of the month.
On November 15, however, the planet Mars will be turning retrograde for the rest of the year. Be aware that this could lead you to take some rather ill-considered or misguided actions, so take time to reconsider some of your activities. Be sure that you look before you leap over the coming weeks.
When the planet Jupiter moves into the Earth sign of Capricorn on December 18, where it will remain throughout the next year, you will have the opportunity to improve your mental abilities as well as your communication skills. Make an effort to bring a more positive approach to the way you handle your daily interactions and you might benefit from improved relations with your siblings at this time.
Since the planet Saturn moved into the sign of Virgo back on September 2, you’ve been challenged to take your social connections much more seriously. So make sure that you live up to your duties and obligations in your friendships. There could be quite a few issues for you to deal with involving your friends. Stand by your true friends, but don’t waste time on people whose loyalty is questionable. Seek out positive people who will be there till the end, rather than just fair-weather friends.
