Feng Shui Tips According to Your Chinese Zodiac Animal

Feng Shui Tips According to Your Chinese Zodiac Animal | California Psychics

What is Feng Shui?

Feng Shui is the Chinese practice that allows you to make your home or business a place that supports and balances your natural energies to create peace, love, prosperity, and success in your home and career. Now is a time to consider finding new balance in these areas since many who haven’t had an office at home are now reconsidering and incorporating these energies into personal spaces.

Which rooms you use for your public and home life, their colors, furnishings, and images can help you energize particular rooms for success. At the same time, you will want places of rest and contentment, along with a central location to focus on health and family during our current pandemic, and in general throughout your life.

The Benefits of Feng Shui

As employers see the cost-savings and benefits of having employees work from home, you may likely be shifting your career energies to the place where you live and love permanently. If you have a business separate from your home, you’ll want to energize the prosperity as our new economy expands and a healthy environment is re-established.

Having a Feng Shui practitioner in your home allows you to enjoy ancient Chinese astrology and its fundamental ancient Chinese philosophies. This set of skills uses and balances the elements of yin/yang (masculine/feminine) and the five Chinese elements where our living energy flows. There are also the directions and colors influencing where you work and live.

The Five Chinese Elements

The Chinese elements change every two years alongside the one-year influence of the Chinese Zodiac Animal, which in 2021 is the year of the (White) Metal Ox. This energy is in play with each animal’s natural expression of its most prominent element.

The auspicious colors of the year also bring benefits, so notice what colors draw your interest in clothing, as well as your home. The element and environmental expressions within your animal sign are described as follows.

Wood is a benevolent element influencing your fate and your status in life. It blooms, flourishes, and allows you to grow. It reaches to the heavens while also offering spatial direction.

Fire is intense. It offers power and influence, along with degrees of strength and bravery. It is the hearth (fiery spirit) at the center of home and family.

Metal addresses your longevity, dangers, and difficulties. It cuts cords and provides the tools for releasing the old while allowing new, transformed power to flow into your life.

Water offers you deep wisdom regarding the flow of life. It is an energy for financial agility, applying your talents, and the mutual benefits you create with others, allowing expansion of what sustains you all. This is the active mind going with the flow, details included.

Earth gives birth and allows growth throughout nature. Your status and financial standing in life appears as something nurturing.

Your Feng Shui practitioner will look at the directions in your chart to see what’s needed to offer you a healthy, abundant, fulfilling life, considering your personal energies, excesses, and needs.

Feng Shui for Your Chinese Zodiac Animal

Review your personal Chinese Animal year and notice if you sense that its inherent element is too prevalent in your life and needs balance. If your minute, hour, and month overwhelm your year element, you’ll enjoy more of your animal’s symbolic energy, elements, and colors:

How the Directions Affect You

The fundamental directions in your home helps to guide you in what is needed to balance your animal year energy throughout your home. If you sense that what you have is too much, it probably is.

If you yearn for certain colors and objects, consider if they enhance your creative nature or are needed to balance the intensity of your color. These are the directions, their colors, and elements/objects, with applications for 2021. Consider their psychological affect on you and use them accordingly in your home or office.

North section – Career: Use brilliant white stones, juniper scent, water scenes and features (glass/crystal/mirror) to energize you. They might bring too much energy to your bedroom, so consider what works for you in each room.

Northeast section – Spirituality, Skills, Knowledge: Light blue to darker/purple stones, chamomile, and warm, earthy pottery. This is where you hang your achievement awards and thank you images to mentors. Inspirational images through words, books, and images of mountains reaching to great heights would also go in this space.

East section – House and Family: Amethyst, jasmine, fresh flowers/plants/fruits. Family photos and landscapes enhance this energy.

Southeast section – Money and Wealth: Copper, crystallized stones, and other crystals, gold and silver, spicy scents, jade, trees, art, and other images of wealth.

South section – Fame and Reputation: Fiery objects, green and pink crystallized stones, bright colors like orange, candles/fire/lights, bamboo, wind chimes – even images of famous or successful people you admire.

Southwest – Love and Marriage: Rose Quartz, patchouli, peonies, candles, images of love and sharing.

West – Children and Creativity: Boji stones (found in SW Kansas) or KS pop rocks have a smooth texture for the feminine and nodular texture for male energies for grounding, bergamot, music, creative works, and photos of children.

Northwest – Helpful People and Blessings: Tiger’s eye, Marjoram, metal wind chimes, photos of mentors, spaces with angles, and swirling shapes.

At the Heart of the Home (Central): Warm fires, earth tones, balance, warm-colored stones like citrine, and lavender, pottery, health symbols, fresh fruit, and flowers.

Additional Tips

There is a fundamental, natural sense to what you need in your home in addition to these suggestions. More fiery elements or those of flowing waters are better in the business and financial areas of your home. Peaceful elements are for the bedroom where there isn’t much bright light or noise that can impact sleep.

Also, your entryway should be inviting and simple. If a mirror faces the door, it is thought to bounce energy out of your home, so a mirror should be placed in an adjacent or otherwise different location. Even the functionality of your door is important, as you want to create a welcoming feeling as you enter that allows all of your desired energies to flow.

Red and other high-energy colors can be helpful in your office. An energy flow in this area also attracts wealth and work energy. Jade plants are helpful as well.

Feng Shui Your Way to Peace

Look around your home and notice what is distracting or doesn’t reflect what you want in your life. Dead plants and clutter should be removed for a peaceful mind. When your home and office represent you and your desires, your energy is balanced for you dream life to unfold.

My son was born in the year of the rat. I’m born in a year of the boar. How can every item you mentioned for us be the same, except that hisbis masculine and mine is feminine? We both have North, Mercury, etc all the same. Was this a typographical error? We are almost diametrical opposites!
