Astrological Patterns and Detachment

Over the past several months I have been exposed to a particular astrological pattern. I have quite honestly never seen such a natal configuration. I can only draw one conclusion and it is somewhat staggering in its implications. Apparently it is NOW time for me to recognize this concept since I have seen it three times over the last six months. Prior to this I have not seen this dynamic in nearly 30 years of astrological investigation. There ARE no coincidences.

Imagine an empty astrological wheel. Now picture most of the planets all lined up in one house, with only one planet outside this concentration of planets. In each case, the bulk of planets are located in Aquarius, and the lone planet is Neptune and in each chart squares the concentration of planets. The square, which is a 90 degree angle, is considered a karmic stressor.

Any time a chart carries three or more planets in a specific house there will be some confusion due to competing planetary energies and is referred to as a Stellium. But, when all or most of the planets are concentrated into one particular house or sign, a locomotive pattern is in effect, and clearly indicates a one pointed focus or direction, usually led by the planet in the lead position of this pattern.

Aquarius represents multiple qualities — too many to list here. Aquarius is an Air sign, that is, of a mental nature. It is powerfully connected to the universal mind. Though highly energetic and spiritual, it may be considered somewhat cold and detached – definitely not of an emotional nature, as the water signs. Aquarians often struggle with emotional issues. Aquarians seem to dance to a different drummer, and the drummer is a high spiritual vibration.

Neptune represents the spiritual octave of love. It is very mystical, extremely emotional. Many, if not most, of the spiritual sensitivities exhibited by psychics have some correlation with Neptune in a favorable configuration with other planets. But, Neptune in an unfavorable angle with other planets, such as the square or opposition, indicates emotional attachment, depression, obsession and even possession in extreme cases.

I have the opportunity every day to witness and examine individual lives, from an astrological perspective. I am on an intense learning curve, and I have often expressed that I couldn’t pay for this education. I am truly blessed and grateful. It is so very easy to become detached — the study of astrology does confer a certain objectivity which contributes clarity for the client. Because of this, I have been embracing that detachment as a goal, and not a process. I was wrong. These are my conclusions.

The three charts  I have examined, the people that are represented, share a common history and destiny. All exhibit an extremely high spiritual path. All are successful in their particular life course. All grew up being so different from the norm that they easily detached from the common drama of living, and once again followed their comfortable path of high spirituality, but from a purely mental perspective – somewhat disconnected from the emotional. Each of them were exposed to a situation, designed to shake them out of their intellectual safety and send them into the emotional depths of misery. Clearly emotional shock treatment. The interesting fact is that this is pretty much why these personalities came into this particular incarnation – not much else going on, for any of them.

Detachment is extremely important on a personal level. Getting out of our “drama” is key to positive change. But this is only a step. When we detach from others we are missing the component that runs the universe: LOVE. Remember, Neptune represents the spiritual octave of Venus. These personalities came back only to return to Source with that piece. Hearts ripped open, now bleeding, they understand.

“We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time…”

“When the tongues of flame are in-folded
Into the crowned knot of fire
And the fire and the rose are one.”-T.S.Eliot

    Hi Jen,
What a great idea! I prefer to read over watching TV and I love books that help me learn & grow, books with a spiritual nature to them. The Mitch Albom book you mentioned sounds perfect!
Has anyone ever read the book “God on a Harley”? It’s a fantastic book every woman should read…a fun, witty, short story that gives women a whole new perspective on men & relationships…I recommend it highly to all!!!
I look forward to seeing what everyone decides and purchasing a new book!
    This will be fun!

I know that feeling. I have been in the same situation you are in for the past 3 years, with now energy or strength for motivation. Only difference is that I never attached to anyone else because I feel fear of getting hurt again. Moreover, I have lost all my ambition for everything in life. I am just existing.

I am blown away by this article as i have been plunged into one of the most brutal depressions, dare i admit it, obsessions. Following a divorce at x-mas, after a few months rather than do the work of finding myself again, i got involved with a venus/pluto man, someone noone in their right mind would keep seeing, unless of course he is meant to be a lesson. what’s so horrible is that i can’t hear myself think; i’ve just lost a job because of “drama” and i feel like i don’t have the energy to climb out of this rabbit hole. i wish i could detach, but my former passions and interests hold no more allure for me. the stars all seem to want to keep me here in this bermuda triangle, lost. i will try and detach and learn to relove myself i just don’t think i know how…

with that said one must remmber 2012 is just around the corner. The year when the truth comes forth. I see Neptune coming into line with the rest as the Sun draws close to the center of the galaxy.

Thanks Phillip for your insights. I have five planets in Taurus llth and two in Aries 1Oth – the odd man out is Neptune in third – North Node fourth Saturn has just hit the node. Wow- I reconnected with a spiritual centre I experienced some 10 years ago. Now having been through ten years ‘dark night’ wonder if Neptune is saying I should reconnect. Feels right. thanks again.

Detachment is the key to change. I think too many of us hang on to the past and things we really cannot change in any way, shape or form in the future. When one door closes, we have to let it slam shut, or it will get in the way of the next door opening wide and exposing the full realm of possibility.

Thanks for another great article and the excellent conversation during our reading the other day, Phillip. You told me exactly, in no uncertain terms, what I both wanted and needed to hear. I am so glad that I talked with you.
There are definitely changes that I need to make in my life, and being a Taurus makes that a natural challenge. (Not that it’s an excuse…as you said to me during the reading, DO IT!) Thanks for giving me the first small step to moving in a different direction.
As Miss Krystal talked about, detachment is one of my lessons. It has always been difficult for me to detach. I had always thought of it as the painful process of quitting cold turkey that would leave me with a giant hole, even if what I cut off was more painful than getting rid of it. I have always feared the pain that such emptiness would bring.
Instead, I see now that filling my life with the things that I want in it will move me gradually away from the thing that I want to leave behind. The process of detaching will be the incorporation of what will truly make me happy, what will allow me to grow and what will lead me down my karmic path.
Thank you, Phillip and Miss Krystal!
    Cheers,
    Lise 🙂

Hi Phillip, Jacqueline, and all of the other psychics out there…..clients are asking me ” HOW ” I read…..and I’ve explained how ” MY ”
    gift works…….
but…. I’ve also tried to explain how every psychic is different…..in 43 years, I’ve never met a psychic who reads the same way, or obtains and delivers their info the samw way.
I think it would be very informative , not to mention educational, for the clients to hear how you other psychics out there ” read”.
    OK…..have much to do…gotta go…..

Love your comment could not agree more strongly!
Perhaps it is an Aries thing, my understanding is that we share this common interest, I have learned that everything I do is to assist the vibration of the planet
I personally believe this is the only reason I’m here is to be of the service of others, very plain and simple, I have no worries, no concerns for my personal achievements, rewards, material wealth etc… (even though the power company says otherwise) I know and trust everything is here that I need as well as desire, It always, always does, like yourself, I know when I focus on what I can do for others, it is in this space that all energy flows through….
Isn’t this the secret of life? LOL….

Hi Jacqueline, Imagine this energy, this vibration of pure love emanating from source. That vibration of pure love reaches down and down through all of manifestation, and as it passes through the layers of physicality, it becomes more and more condensed, heavy and lower in vibration. Imagine the entire universe fiery, then cooling, life forms, animals form, humans come into being. We are now in a process of returning to that pure light, love. Taking it out of the personal and into the universal, love for everything. Is love for me, truly for my benefit, my personal benefit this pure love? or is it something else? Is it fulfilling a need in me? or is it truly for others? I believe we are climbing into that love. At times, when we get out of our attachment to feeling good and just be still and silent, We can connect directly with God’s love. These moments reveal to us the destination, the origin. Then we know how far we have yet to ascend. My highest love is never for me, it is always for someone else. I know you know what I mean sweety. It’s why you are here, in service. Is that not true?

    Hi Phillip,
Once again, Love your article, So I pose the question? due to the positioning of the planets, if in fact the universe is trying to get those people to get out of “Drama” to seek a more happier, Loving space, if one chooses to get out of there “Drama” and choose a higher vibration, then this occurs, on an intense deep level, ok so I ask because of the positioning of the planets, does this mean that the “Drama” and “Love” or higher Vibrational space is indeed significantly higher?

In his article, Phillip said, “When we detach from others we are missing the component that runs the universe: LOVE.”
I’m sorry you feel that I was being verbose. I was actually stressing the point that Phillip was making. I’m sure I have lots of lessons to learn in this lifetime, just as you do. If detachment means forgetting about love, then I’m all for staying attached. It’s not that easy to stop your emotions. I wholeheartedly believe that it’s easy to put yourself in a better mood, in a higher vibration, but that doesn’t stop the thoughts that fuel the rollercoaster ride from coming through now and again. And I’m pretty sure that’s a challenge for a lot of people.

It means that until you are truly loving yourself, you are certainly NOT loving anybody else. Give to yourself that love, and detach from your personal drama, then you are free to love or love freely, not from a position of NEED but from a position of strength. It is all about taking back your power, which YOU gave away. NOW take it back Piya. Your happiness hangs in the balance.

Phillip, love your articles! First I read your article on the “Power of Thought” which I very much enjoyed. Actually, reading that article was one of the reasons I called you the other day! Which by the way was one of the most exciting readings I think I have ever had and what a treat that was!
This article has really made me pause and give thought to what is going on. This too has really hit home for me, as I am one of those people with a “locomotive” pattern, I don’t think I really understood what you meant till reading this article. You have really opened my eyes. After surviving the “emotional shock treatment” I am now learning/understanding the detachment and have already done quite a bit of getting out of my “drama”. What is so curious about all of this, is the calm that I have started to feel deep in my gut. I know everything will be ok. Even though the train wreck is still all around me.
I hope you are planning an article on the “Royal Stars of Persia”! I did look this up by the way. But would love to see an article on it by you!
Thank you for your awesome contributions to the CP blogs!
    You rock, Phillip!!

    Great article, Phillip.
It is difficult for people, especially when they are rather verbose, to actually detach…However, if you are one of the people that feel detachment is a challenge, then it is clear you have a lesson with all of this, perhaps. As a result, I can assure you that using this technique will not only make your life more peaceful, but the people who you are detaching from will probably respect you more. If it is a “thing” you need to detach from, well then you will develop more respect for yourself. It is a great step and tool when nothing is going right….Blessings,

    Hi Philip,
How very very strange… I woke up this morning with one thought “Change something in your life and make it POSITIVE!”
Not sure of the planets and where they are in my chart but my heart is in too much of pain just as you have written “Hearts ripped opened, now bleeding, they understand.” I understand that I need to do something otherwise I will not be able to continue. I know so well after reading a lot that I need to detach but that will mean I will have to stop feeling the love. Does it mean that in order to detach you need to stop loving ?

    Hi Phillip,
I won’t be in here much for awhile….I’m having some work to do on my house ( had a bit of water damage from early spring twisters), my daughter sent me a VERY gifted student to train,….and I have a Doctor, that I’ve read for for years now, that was in a very serious accident who needs me now.
Phillip, if you wish to send me articles or anythingelse…please pass them thru Cassandra, Jannifer C. or Carrie ok?

“Hearts ripped opened, now bleeding, they understand.” It’s easy to tell someone they need to detach themselves, but it is such a difficult thing to do. Love DOES run the universe, and our lives, and to detach from the one we love is to detach from the Source in some way.
We should all avoid the drama that causes so much of the stress we endure. It’s easy to sit back, relax, and let go of the DRAMA, but to let go of the situation, or the person, is a whole other matter. Even letting go of the outcome is difficult. When love runs so deep in your heart, so deep that you want to shout out to the world, “I LOVE!” then detachment is almost an impossibility.
That’s when we seek answers, but sometimes we have to strain so hard to hear them. We seek them from heaven, we seek them from ourselves, we seek them from psychics, all because we want to have peace…peace of mind, and peace of heart. I have been through so many heartaches in my life, losing so many of the people that I loved, the worst being the loss of a child. But I always found the strength to continue, albeit with a little less spring in my gait and a little less song in my heart.
I’d like to find out how many planets I have in any particular house, because I have a feeling there are more than a few in each! I’ll have to call you again so we can look into that a little more deeply.
Thank you for another wonderful article. As always, it is such a pleasure and a joy to hear what you have to say. Your words always have a way of “hitting home.”
    ~Fran
