Your Animal Horoscope for July 2013

What are Animal Scopes?

In the Western world, astrology and daily horoscopes are a great way to see the trends that may be heading in our direction. Chinese astrology works in much the same way, but each year also represents an animal energy. For example, this is the year of the snake.

The Native American people also had a wonderful link with mother earth and the animals they shared their lives with. Whilst working with this energy, I was inspired to devise these original Animal Scopes (which I channeled from my spirit guide and the Animal Scopes are different than the Native American zodiac). These are monthly forecasts based around the Native American Medicine Animal cards I work with. As with traditional horoscopes, these are an overall view of the month ahead. As we all have a “totem” of nine medicine animals who walk with us, a more in-depth forecast can be plotted with a person’s full date of birth.

For example, if in Western astrology you are a Gemini, this translates into the Swan, and a Cancer would be the Alligator and so on. To find your Animal Scope, find your birthday between the date ranges listed below. Here are the Animal Scopes for the next month. To get a detailed Animal Scope reading (because there are many more details beyond this short summary), give me a call.

Dragonfly: March 21 – April 19

A secret shared with you brings unexpected passion into your life. It is a time of fun and laughter as you look to make travel plans. If you nurture a project now, it brings gains by mid-July.

Buffalo: April 20 – May 20

A new contract around the 24th brings you reward and recognition. Allow yourself time to heal the past and balance yourself. Someone who lacks responsibility may surprise you. The end of April sees you backing away for a short while. A smile says “I want to know you.”

Swan: May 21 – June 20

Someone who may be just a friend begins to show you they may want more. Ask yourself if this is really what you want. As you take stock, you see all disruptions draw to a close. A celebration or party you attend brings much relief from stress as you meet new people. It’s time to network.

Alligator: June 21 – July 22

A stubborn man begins to emerge and wants to reconnect with you. Try not to over analyze why. However, a problem you notice that has been missed sees you at the top of the ladder in work. Changes in the home see more space and a strong family unit.

Lynx: July 23 – August 22

Use your element of surprise to diffuse a really awkward situation. Try to distance yourself form negative people especially around the 20th. You may feel stressed at the end of the month, so be kind to yourself. An interesting text sees you smiling and asking yourself why? Your intuition will not let you down.

Moose: August 23 – September 22

Power and wisdom are the key for you this month. Knowledge gained now will serve you so well later this year. It’s also a time to let your hair down and enjoy the fun in life. If someone is being too serious, show them how to release their inner child. Your healing words bring peace to a female around you which will not go unrewarded.

Crow: September 23 – October 22

This is a month of patience and de-cluttering your space. A situation that needs healing will take time, but if you allow yourself to pace your life, it will bring reward. A message in your dream shows you how someone really feels about you. Keep a dream journal. Around the 22nd, look for an alternative solution to a material problem. The simplest solution is the best.

Turtle: October 23 – November 21

Take a leap of faith because the surprises are bountiful. Allow others to be as protective towards you as you have been to them. The fire breath of the dragon, when called on, can see you blazing a trail ahead in a new business venture. You attract all the right people to you, but you may have to walk away from someone who drains your energy.

Snake: November 22 – December 21

Emotional freedom is here for you this month as you want to spread your wings. The possibilities are endless. If you are looking for that special someone, look no further. A new connection towards the end of the month can be very joyful as long as you remain flexible. Abundance is yours as long as you don’t go charging like a bull at the gate. Plans for a holiday need double checking.

Coyote: December 22 – January 19

Will you let go of something or someone who is not serving a purpose? If you have been wondering if they are really telling the truth, remain silent and watch. This not only brings much needed peace, but a gift that is of universal proportions. Goals you set for yourself are readily achievable. No need to rush. Communication is at its peak for you.

Hummingbird: January 20 – February 18

Expect success and do not limit your imagination. There is a promotion or step up coming for you and you need to be at your best. If someone has been troublesome around you, step back and smile sweetly. You may not want to stray too far from home, but by mid-month, you feel the need to move. A relationship that may have gone off the boil begins to simmer again. Fun in the sun is coming.

Otter: February 19 – March 20

Habits broken or a change of look really goes a long way for you as your self-esteem rockets. Start to plan now, but try not to over do it. A female link brings a lot of support, and your own inner strength really benefits. You are given the “bow of authority” this month. Aim your arrows carefully. Your mind is razor sharp and ideas are abundant. Don’t bottle things up, as you may be asked a difficult question mid-month. An honest reply brings dividends.

These forecasts are channelled by my spirit guide, and are not related to Native American Astrology. They are a unique forecast to the dates they relate to.

Also, more widely associated with Native American Indian Astrology ( not the medicine card version )….Virgo is represented by the Bear.
