How Crystals Enhance Your Energy

We've all seen the cliché of a psychic looking deep into a crystal ball, but would it surprise you to know that anyone can benefit from crystal vibration to clear negative energy? Many rocks and crystals ground and center us, and can take us to higher vibrations.

Feel the vibes
When you pick up a rock or a crystal, hold it for a few moments to get the feel of the weight. Enjoy the look of this beautiful piece of the natural world. Look deeper into the inner facets and anomalies within the crystal. As you hold a crystal, think of going even deeper into this ancient piece of Mother Earth. Begin to feel its energy. You may feel a subtle vibration emanating from the crystal, especially if you have an exceptionally clear or powerful piece, and you may get a calm feeling from this simple act. Hold it for a few minutes or longer - absorb the mineral's good vibrations.

Crystal Children
Do your children ever come home with pockets full of rocks? You may be the parent of a Crystal Child - a group of children born since the new millennium. These special children are known for their big, deep, glowing eyes - and their love of rocks and crystals. They are here to remind us of joy, and to bring healing. Make sure to take them to visit rocks at gem and mineral shows in your area, or go on outings to local gift shops or New Age bookstores so they can be in contact with these essential formations. If you pay close attention, you may actually see the crystals communicating with these highly sensitive and special children.

Common calming crystals
Obsidian, smooth and black, is one of nature's most calming, grounding and protective rocks. Carry thsese in your pocket to protect yourself from negative energies when you are out and about. Rose quartz is a beautiful soft pink stone that helps open up your loving feelings - maternally, romantically and in general. Placing a piece of purple amethyst by your bedside will help to facilitate a good night's sleep, and I often put obsidian and kunzite (a striated blue stone) near my computer to protect myself from electromagnetic energies. I always wear a necklace of clear Brazilian quartz and moldevite, to support my connection to my guides and angels.

Clearing negativity from our everyday encounters is essential to maintaining a healthy, balanced state of mind. Regularly clearing your energies is as essential to your soul as a daily cleansing shower is to your body. Using crystals to assist in this cleansing and balancing is easy and fun - and can create a positive shift in your life!
