Going to the polls, they believe, can be a spiritual exercise that can bring a positive change. It may be one vote, but it counts. "If we don't want a minority of people to make our decisions for us we must vote, share our beliefs and encourage others to cast their ballots," confidently states Jesse ext. 9027. "Voting is a vital part of karmic law in action. The basic premise of karmic cause and effect is simple, each action creates a reaction that transcends all time. Therefore whatever we do has the ability to change our present and future - and we know that voting changes things. Voting is about the power of collective thought. It's about a critical mass of people believing in the ideas and the possibilities presented by their candidates and going to the polls with intention."

There's plenty of room for the percentages of voters who actually go to the polls to grow. In fact, many registered voters, don't show up. People who vote generally feel gratified, whether their candidate or issue wins or not. "When people stop voting, whatever their reasons - and this may sound harsh - it shows a lack of responsibility and commitment," Verbena ext. 9615 contends. "One of the big problems with voting is that people feel they are voting against something. Use the law of attraction to focus on what you want out of an election, so that you attract more of it."
"If you don't like any of the candidates, then find something you can vote for," Verbena rallies. "There must be something a candidate stands for that will resonate with you, or lead to the well-being of others. Go over the ideals that motivate them or even the basic principles or their party's platform. I pick two issues that are important to me - health care and the environment - and sign up for email alerts on the candidates and these issues," Verbena encourages.
"If my clients are deliberating upon who to vote for, I tell them they can always use their voice and their vote in a decision based on a scale that is larger than themselves, by making a decision based on what they think will be good for the country - or the world," suggests TeriLynn ext. 9625 .
"Voting is worth the effort you put into it. It's an opportunity to see karma in action…" concludes Jesse. Indifference and apathy are hard on a nation's soul, she believes.
