A psychic predicts an underwater affair

Sometimes it just takes time and timing for love to grow into a commitment. Her first call from Abby (not her real name) began like so many others. The 40ish Midwestern native had been seeing a man casually, yet exclusively, for more than six years. Recently, she felt, he seemed to be pulling away. "Is Mark leaving me?" the Libra asked the psychic.

Marti threw out her usual seven card spread and asked Abby for their birth dates. As a Clairsentient, Marti explains, "I get a sense of things from the cards and then the energy of the astrology fine tunes the reading. It's a very logical way for me to work, as callers can be confused about their feelings. The birth information helps clarify matters for me."

This was a case of a Libra (Abby) with a Cancer Moon, dating a Pisces (Mark, not his real name), which generally works very well together. "Actually," Marti believed, "I don't see him leaving at all. He just needs some time to regroup, because he gets so close and sometimes your outwardly charismatic Pisces, doesn't understand how he got so lucky to have you in his life." Pisces, she explained, can have significant confidence issues and his "pulling away" was just one example of his natural instinct to become elusive and sensitive.

Abby, replied that she thought that Marti's read on Mark was interesting, because she too, often felt unbelievably lucky and insecure about him. She told the psychic that Mark was not a good communicator and that they didn't talk on the phone, but that they did see each other often during the week, and had traveled extensively with their adventurous group of friends over the years. Abby was confused. She really didn't know what to think of Marti's prediction. Yet, unbeknownst to Marti, they were scheduled to go diving in Cancun with their travel friends in April. Abby related this to validate Marti's prediction. "I'm really thinking of cancelling, because of his strange behavior."

Yes, she admitted that she and Mark did get along fabulously. They never fought and had gravitated together immediately socially, but the relationship had taken a long time to grow… eventually they discovered that they had chemistry. Before their time on the phone ran out, Abby admitted to the psychic that she just never considered that Mark was thinking about moving in that direction.

Months later Abby called back. She read Marti's prediction back to her from the notes she had taken on her first call, word for word. "You were so accurate!" she exclaimed and went on to describe the details of their engagement. As they were ascending from their last dive on their holiday in Cancun, Mark had taken her hand and slipped a ring on her finger. Nothing was said. They just looked at each other. And nothing had been said once they surfaced, except the announcement was made to their friends, that they were engaged. It was fun and exciting, but now Abby had no idea as to whether or not they would actually marry. She asked Marti to look into it.

"He does say I love you now," Marti sensed and Abby agreed. "The communication is better, though I don't see you planning a wedding. You'll be on a trip together sometime in the future, maybe even two years from now… and you'll just see a place and the mood will be right and you'll decide to get married. It will be spontaneous, but it will be perfect, because you'll be with your travelling group."

"I'm just beginning to understand that that sounds like something we would do. We have such a comfortable relationship that I've been questioning it, rather than finding peace in it and enjoying it every day," Abby concluded.

"I think at this point there have been enough words and enough action for you to believe in your future together. Mark as a Pisces has actually been very good in teaching you to relax and enjoy the moment," Marti pointed out. "He lets you be yourself, and he's very sensitive to who you are."

With that good of chemistry and camaraderie, Marti says she feels like they're a team. "Yours is one of those relationships that will get better and better and better with age," she told Abby. These are the couples, she says that usually stick for good.
