Is it love?
The love of my life wants to buy a house for herself after living with me for 15 years. The relationship has been difficult but the big love that we've shared has always pulled us through, though not without a few scars. The love that I feel for her has never waned and she has grown ever more appealing to me. Her childhood was horrific and left her completely lost and disenfranchised as an adult. She was 26 when we met and fell instantly in love. I had an almost idyllic childhood, and with a lot of love, we worked through many problems. She has a whole new picture of herself and the world around her now. People love her and are drawn to her. So different than her past. She has a lot of energy to give to these new situations and people, but I feel like a ghost in her world as that energy she has seems rarely directed at me. I feel eaten up by loneliness and jealousy. She says I just can't "take in" the love she is giving me every day. I feel so used and neglected and unappreciated. I have never put so much into a relationship. I did so believing it would be returned. Her birthday is 7/13/66. Mine is 1/16/59. Please tell me what you see in regards to our future together.

Dear Cindy,
Your partner reminds me of a butterfly emerging from a painful cocoon. Your love helped her to develop into a woman who can fly, emotionally. Now you're asking if she'll fly away from you. There are many compatible elements between your charts. This suggests that although she needs to try out her wings, she may indeed return to you - if you give her the freedom to explore her new self.
The dynamic in your relationship is the strong and reliable Capricorn (you) taking care of the needy and wounded Cancer (her). Opposite signs complement each other nicely, but the relationship was unbalanced in that you were doing most of the giving. Cancer rules nurturing, and with her Sun, Mars and Jupiter in Cancer, it's her turn to give to you!
As for love, her Venus in Gemini can appear fickle, but what she actually needs is plenty of mental repartee with other people, not necessarily sexual encounters. Fortunately, your Venus in sociable Aquarius understands this - when you aren't trying to control her (a Capricorn challenge). Your Venuses are in harmony, which means your relationship needs are compatible. And your Mars in Taurus and her Mars in Cancer are sexually in sync. Even so, she's not showing her love in a way that you "get." You need to tell her what she can do that will make you feel loved.
For now, I think the best thing you can do is use your Venus in Aquarius to focus on your friendship with her - and your other friends as well, which will take the pressure off her. If you give her the gift of freedom (another Aquarius trait), she'll feel more open to reestablishing her relationship with you.
All in a dream
My daughter is 22 years old and my son is 17. I had a really strange dream one morning where my daughter for some reason was only 4 years old but my son was his current age of 17. I took my daughter to school, but it was an unfamiliar school, not any of the ones she had actually attended. I told her to wait in a certain area, but in the meantime, the bell rang and everyone went to their classrooms. When I went back to get her I couldn't find her anywhere! I went to the office to get them to help me but they wouldn't call her name over the loudspeaker and they just kept saying they had other ways to find her. I left the office and continued searching but I still couldn't find her. I went back to the office and demanded they use the loudspeaker but they wouldn't do that and they wouldn't call the police. My son came to help, but we still couldn't find her. I woke up terrified. My birthday is Aug. 9, 1961, my daughter's birthday is April 24, 1985 and my son's birthday is Oct. 31, 1989. What could this mean?

Dear Kathi,
Your young dream-daughter probably represents an undeveloped part of yourself that you feel you've lost. Being a Leo, your destiny is to manifest your creativity. Is there a dream inside you that you've put on hold, something that would fulfill your creativity? You told your daughter to wait and she disappeared - what are you waiting for in "real life"? Perhaps your dream-daughter's age is a clue: Was there something you wanted to accomplish about four years ago - or when your real-life daughter was 4 years old? The school suggests this lost part of you is still in a learning/developing phase. Additionally, the loudspeaker is an intriguing symbol. I think it represents communications - guidance - from other people that you're looking to assist you in finding your "daughter" - your creative direction. However, that's not the way you'll find it. The key to rediscovering your creativity is already inside you. It sounds like you're about to embark on an exciting new path!
Sweet dreams,
Cortney
