We generally disclose these categories of personal information for business purposes to our service providers, such as payment processors and account management providers to facilitate our Services and access to the Sites. 2. HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION
We collect the information described above from different sources, including through (a) information you provide to us; (b) information we automatically collect; (c) information we receive from third parties, such as when you login using Facebook Login; and (d) combining information from different sources.
a. Information You Give Us
If you create an account, make a purchase, fill out a survey, sign up for emails, enter a contest, or provide testimonials, you share your personal information with us. Sometimes, you can choose not to give us information. For example, you don’t have to sign up for emails. But other times, we’ll need your information to be able to provide you with the requested services (e.g., setting up your account).
If you link a social media account through our Sites or Services, we may receive certain information about you based on your registration and privacy settings on those third-party services. This may include, but may not be limited to, name, username, demographic information, updated address or contact information, location, interests, and social media and online activity. b. Information Automatically Collected
When you visit our Sites and interact with our Services, we may use technologies such as cookies, web beacons, or similar tracking technologies to automatically or passively collect certain information about visitors to our Sites and interactions with our emails and online advertisements, and to allow Outlook to keep track of analytics and certain statistical information, which enables Outlook to improve its Sites and provide you with more relevant content and advertising on our Sites and other sites. You may have options to change your browser settings to choose how we can collect some of this information.
The specific types of information that we and/or our partners and service providers may collect from you include:

d. Combination of Information
We may combine the information we receive from and about you, including information you provide to us and information we automatically collect through our Sites and Services, as well as information collected from other online sources or from third-parties (including social networks that you use to connect with Outlook) to help us tailor our communications to you and to improve our Sites and Services. We use, disclose, and protect combined Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.
3. HOW WE DISCLOSE THE INFORMATION

All of the above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We will never ask you to verify your identity to exercise your right to opt out of the sale of your personal information.

Right to an authorized agent. In certain states, you may authorize someone to make a privacy rights request on your behalf (an authorized agent). Authorized agents will need to demonstrate that you’ve authorized them to act on your behalf. We retain the right to request confirmation directly from you confirming that the agent is authorized to make such a request, or to request additional information to confirm the agent’s identity. An authorized agent is prohibited from using a consumer’s personal information, or any information collected from or about the consumer, for any purpose other than to fulfill the consumer’s requests, for verification, or for fraud prevention.
Verification. Consistent with applicable law, please understand that, depending on the type of request you submit, and to protect the confidentiality of yours and others' personal information, we will only complete your request when your identity has been verified. We will seek to match the information in your request to the personal information we maintain about you. As part of our verification process, we may ask you to: submit additional information, use identity verification services to assist, or, if you have set up an account on our website, to sign into your account as part of our identity verification process. Where permitted under applicable law, we may decline a request (other than for opt outs) if we are unable to verify your identity (or an agent’s authority to make the request) and confirm the personal information we maintain relates to you.
Right to appeal. Depending on your U.S. state residency, you may have the right to appeal a decision we have made in connection with your privacy rights request. To appeal a refusal to take action on your request, please see the instructions in our response to your request or submit your appeal in writing by contacting
Privacy@californiapsychics.com with the subject “Appeal of Consumer Privacy Rights Request.” If you are unsatisfied with the way that we have handled your appeal, you may have the right to complain to your state’s attorney general.
You are not required to create an account to exercise your state privacy rights.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your consumer privacy rights outlined in this Section.
b. Google Analytics
Our website uses technology provided by Google to facilitate advertising and reporting. We implement Google Analytics cookies to collect personal information about you when you visit our website for purposes of remarketing, impression reporting, and demographic and interest reporting. This information includes device identifiers, IP address, and browsing history, and can be combined with other data related to you collected through Google’s advertising cookie or other third-party technology. You can opt-out of the use of this technology through the Google Analytics opt-out browser add on, Google Ad Settings, and/or Ad Settings for mobile apps.
c. Marketing and Promotional Communications
Email Marketing: You can view or change your preferences to receive subscriptions (e.g., horoscopes, newsletters), promotional communications, and alerts at any time by accessing the Mail Preferences and My Alerts sections of your member account, or by contacting us at Privacy@californiapsychics.com. You also may choose to stop receiving such communications delivered by e-mail by following the unsubscribe instructions included in the emails. Even if you unsubscribe from certain emails, we may still send you messages regarding transactions you’ve made or other important non-marketing communications.
Text Message Marketing: When you provide your mobile telephone number and opt-in to our text message marketing program (“Messaging Service”), you agree to receive recurring automated promotional marketing text messages from California Psychics, including text messages that may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system, to the mobile telephone number you provided. Consent to receive automated marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase. You may opt-out at any time. Message frequency will vary. Reply STOP to cancel, Reply HELP for help or email support@californiapsychics.com. Message & Data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We collect various information on our behalf from and about you, including information you directly provide when you use the Messaging Service. When you send messages via the Messaging Service, we also will collect your messaging history and any information included in those messages. We also may collect information about you using cookies or similar technologies. Cookies are pieces of information that are stored by your browser on the hard drive or memory of your device. Cookies enable personalization of your experience on the Messaging Service. You may opt-out at any time.
d. Facebook Login Data: Right to Delete
You may request that we delete your Facebook Login Data at any time by submitting a request by email to

6. NOTICE OF FINANCIAL INCENTIVE
We offer financial incentives to promote our products and services. These include:

Karma Rewards Program, which provides members a $20 credit for signing up, allows members to accumulate redeemable points with every purchase and other perks.

Points programs, discounts, coupons, and special offers when you sign up for email lists or marketing promotions, or other incentives that we may announce in the future.
As part of these financial incentives, we ask you to provide personal information, including the following categories: first name, last name, date of birth, phone number, and email address. Because these promotions involve the collection of personal information, they may be interpreted as “financial incentive” programs under California law or “bona fide loyalty programs” under Colorado law. We use this information for the purposes described above under the section titled “Notice at Collection of Personal Information,” including for targeted advertising. We may share your Personal Information with third parties as described in our “Notice at Collection of Personal Information,” including data analytics providers, advertising technology vendors, and social media platforms.
Participation in any financial incentive is optional. To enroll in the Karma Rewards Program, please click

To stop receiving our coupons or discounts in your email, you may unsubscribe from our emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” button at the bottom of any such email. If you ask us to delete your personal information, we will not be able to provide you with access to these programs.
The value of any financial incentive we offer is reasonably related to the value of any personal information you provide to us. We estimate the value of your personal information by considering, without limitation, the expenses we incur from collecting your personal information and/or providing the financial incentive to you, the revenue generated by your use of the financial incentive, and any improvements we can make to our products and services based on aggregating information obtained through the financial incentive program.

7. ADDITIONAL NOTICE TO EEA AND UK RESIDENTS
For residents of the European Economic Area and United Kingdom, Outlook is the controller responsible for processing your personal data.

8. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Outlook is a global business and it, or its service providers, may process, transfer, and store information about our users on servers located in a number of countries inside of the EEA, UK, or Canada, or outside of the EEA, UK, or Canada, including in the United States. When you use our Service, your data may be transferred to locations outside your country of residence. In some of these locations, data protection laws may be less stringent than the ones in your home country. To ensure that your personal information is adequately protected, we only transfer your personal information subject to suitable safeguards being in place.
In particular, where we transfer your information outside the EEA or UK and where required by law, we implement an approved data transfer mechanism in place, such as the standard EU Model Clauses. 9. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT, LINKS AND PLUG-INS
Our Sites include links to other websites whose privacy practices may differ from Outlook’s. If you submit personal information to any of those sites, their privacy policies govern your information. We are not responsible for the practices of such sites, and encourage you to carefully read the privacy policy of any website you visit.
The Sites may offer you the ability to interact with social plugins from social media features, such as the Facebook Like and Share buttons, and other widgets and interactive mini-programs that run on our Sites. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our Sites, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Sites. As with linked sites, we have no control over the information that social network plugins collect, store, or use, and we are not responsible for the practices of such sites. In addition, we may receive certain information about you from a third party social network if you choose to link to us or use certain social media features, based on your registration and privacy settings on those third-party services.
10. YOUR COMMUNICATIONS WITH PSYCHICS THROUGH OUR SITES
The psychics on our Sites are independent contractors and Outlook does not directly employ them. We contractually require that the psychics protect the privacy of your personal information consistent with this Privacy Policy and that they not use or disclose your personal information for any purpose other than providing you with the Services you request through the Sites or by phone. You should also take care to protect your personal information and privacy. There is no reason for you to provide any of the psychics on our Sites with personal contact information or specific financial information, including, but not limited to, account numbers or other confidential information related to your identity, and if you do so, Outlook bears no liability for any resulting actions.
11. TESTIMONIALS
We may display personal testimonials of customers on our Sites in addition to ratings and other endorsements. We may post your testimonial along with your name or other personal information with your consent. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us at

12. SECURITY
Outlook is committed to handling your customer information with high standards of information security. We maintain numerous safeguards to guard your personal information.
