Are our fears and hang-ups the result of past lives<\/strong><\/a>? Sometimes our fears just don\u2019t seem to come \u201cfrom\u201d anywhere. We can\u2019t trace them back to a specific event in our lives\u2026 so where do<\/em> they originate? Our psychics<\/strong><\/a> respond:<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, many times we do bring fears from\u00a0other lifetimes with us into this one. I’ve\u00a0termed this \u2018Past Life Stress Disorder,\u2019\u00a0or PLSD for short, as it is eerily similar to the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder that our war vets and victims of violent crimes experience. There’s\u00a0little difference between the two, because trauma is trauma, whether it’s from\u00a0memories of the Gulf War or memories of the Civil War. These fears can travel with us throughout time in the hopes of eventually being dealt with and resolved. What was too painful to\u00a0cope with in one life can be worked on as a life-lesson in another. As a psychic\u00a0who deals with past life issues all the time, I can tell you that the flashes of past lives\u00a0many people\u00a0experience, along with\u00a0very clear past life recall, will often take the person\u00a0to a\u00a0pertinent event in\u00a0a past life that is\u00a0affecting their life now. \u201cFor example, a woman’s fear\u00a0that her husband will leave her could come from\u00a0a life they had together in\u00a0Elizabethan England,\u00a0when things were very different and she was deserted by the man for his mistress, left alone with small children to raise and no way to care for them. In another instance, a man terrified of\u00a0commitment in this lifetime learned that he was forced to marry a woman he loathed in twelfth century Persia. A teenager terrified of heights discovered that in another life she accidentally\u00a0fell off a balcony. Once the connection is made as to why the fear exists, it\u00a0can be successfully\u00a0neutralized through knowledge in this lifetime.\u201d<\/p>\n
