As we move into the holiday season, I want to look at community, and what it means on a personal, familial, and societal level. Life can seem hard these days, we need each other more and more as time goes on. Our own limitations are more apparent when we try to do everything on our own. Community is about more than just the people in your neighborhood, it\u2019s about the people in your circle. It could be your book club community, it could be online, it could be people with the same illness or disability. The way we forge community in today\u2019s world is ever-shifting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Regardless of how you form a community, we are better off when working together. Human ingenuity comes from collaboration, our ability to learn collectively, and offering help where it\u2019s needed. In this week\u2019s Daily Focus, I want to look at all the ways in which we can embrace community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Communities are not produced by sentiment or mere goodwill.
