What is a typical day for you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

6:30 AM:\nMy cats wake me up so they can eat breakfast. Disoriented and stumbling around,\nI make coffee while feeding them. Together we sit on the sun porch to meditate and\nmanifest joy at sunrise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

7:30 AM:\nWe hike into the hills and sit in nature. We connect to Spirit and greet any\nwinged and furry friends that come our way. Once, we even met a wolf in the\nhills! It was frightening at first; I did not make eye contact, but she came\nover to me and sat down with me. My heart was pounding in my chest! She let me\nlay my hand on her back for a few moments and then she stood up and walked\naway. I haven\u2019t seen her since. That was the most amazing spiritual\nconfirmation of my life!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

8:15 AM:\nI wake my son for class. His senior year\u2014yippie! If I didn\u2019t have the cats, I\u2019d\nfinally be able to sleep in, lol! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

9 AM:\nThe cats and I garden and then we chill out in the hot tub. They sit on the\nsides of the hot tub while I make business calls.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 PM:\nChill, grab a snack, and catch up on the day-to-day with my youngest son. We\nalways sit on the back porch and talk about what he is up to. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5 PM: Chill out listening to music and try to convince my chihuahua that she is a dog despite her six cat siblings. She\u2019s a total cat conformist. Her name is Gigi de la Stella, aka Lil\u2019 G. What are fun things that you like to do in your free time?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On my days off one of my favorite things to do is to eat ice cream while studying the planets and outer space with my granddaughter. I also love photography, cooking, sewing king-sized fur chamber blankets, and gardening. I devote a lot of time to each activity, but I mostly swim a lot. And once a week, my adult kids, my mother, and I have dinner together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also\ncollect afterlife data for paranormal studies to prove that there is life after\ndeath. My efforts of data collection are all to make paranormal science in\nacademic institutions legitimate. I spend a good bit of time in the afterlife\nstudies. My life is super busy- so having a spontaneous soul seems to be the\ntrend lately. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do you relax or clear your mind after being on the line\nall day?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After being on the lines for more than two hours I have to be outside in the sun, and around water. I listen to a lot of music – my younger son turned me on to Juice Wrld, even though I’m an old-school grunge musician.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being a Medium\nand a psychic requires me to spend a lot of time alone. I prefer to stay home a\nlot and not socialize. If there are no family functions scheduled on the\nweekends I chill out with my paranormal friends in haunted locations\u2014 meaning I\ntalk to dead people in dark rooms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you met someone famous?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve met a lot of famous people; my favorites are the super spooky ones. I don\u2019t like to name-drop. I truly think fame is subjective. Egotistically speaking, I\u2019d love to sit down and have dinner with Vincent Price, Alfred Hitchcock, Carl Rogers, and Carl Jung, but unfortunately, I missed the boat for that dream, so now I can only talk to them at a s\u00e9ance table.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did you have a completely different career\npath in your past?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was a\ntouring musician for a time, while in my twenties and thirties I was a\npsychologist before I started with California Psychics. I\u2019m happy I have landed\nwith California Psychics- it\u2019s most fulfilling to help people this way. I truly\nwant to help people with all of life\u2019s obstacles, while being spiritual at the\nsame time. Traditional mental health professionals believe differently about\nspiritualism, but they still \u201cpray\u201d to a higher source. It was conflicting for\nme to waiver back and forth, so transitioning to a 100% metaphysical and paranormal\nlifestyle was the best intuitive feeling I\u2019ve ever paid attention to. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My past\nprofessional career involved working with addiction counseling, autism, crisis\nhospitalization, and 1:1 clinical counseling. I\u2019ve also helped people overcome\npoverty, worked the front lines for self-sufficiency for the homeless, and I\nwas a college director and English Lit adjunct faculty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did you develop your psychic abilities in an interesting way?\n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even\nthough my abilities are passed down from both sides of my family, I truly think I developed\nmy abilities in a very unique way. I\u2019ve built a spiritual rapport with saints,\nangels, old-world gods and goddesses, and Jesus Christ- pretty crazy right?\nWell…I look at life from this point of view: If you have a foot issue you\nwould not see a heart specialist about it\u2014it\u2019s a matter of apples and oranges.\nWhile in grad school, I studied multi-cultural religion and human diversity out\nof Arizona. I was able to learn specific ways to call up the right spirits and\nenergies to get any job done. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Example:\nIf I lose something, I ask Saint Anthony to help me find it, and when he does I\nhonor him with offerings. I have many memorial altars in my home for all of my\nspiritual people. Another example is if there is a dangerous hurricane, I\u2019ll\nask Yemaya or her daughter Oya to calm the waters to protect all that is\ninnocent. If there is an injustice, I\u2019ll ask Justicka to reflect and shine the\ntruth. I truly could write a book about all the spirits and energies I have\nbuilt a relationship with over the many decades of my spiritual journey. About two years ago I had a midlife crisis and went back to school to become a nail technician. Eventually, I fully came back to myself and realized the bigger part of my purpose is to help California Psychics callers. I guess I just needed a break but didn\u2019t know how to slow down. Have you helped a client in a memorable way? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I always choose heartwarming Medium stories to share. A caller had tragically lost her husband and his kids took her business from her. It was an awful beginning for her. I was able to travel into the spirit realm and had help to find him there. He was very detailed\u2014he would tell me what she was doing, and how she felt if she left the house. He also told us to leave the TV on and to place a chair by it. He used the energy from the TV to speak with us. He told me her daughters’ name, he was worried about his cat, and he helped her receive money to start her new business\u2014she named the business after him to honor his name and life. He would come to her many nights and lay with her to be sure she slept peacefully. It took him a few months to be able to completely transition to Spirit because he didn\u2019t want to leave her. He loves her eternally. He would tell me songs that they danced to and many other private special memories they shared. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are your favorite topics to advise California Psychics callers on?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love\nwhen callers ask to connect to their deceased loved ones. I spend so much time\nin the spirit realm that I can normally find them, and for me, it makes readings\nso much more validated. There are things shown or whispered to me that make\nzero sense for me but when I say it to callers, they get what it means. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also\nlove working with the LGBTQ+ community. I stand on a firm front line for human\nrights in general, but my brother had some major struggles being gay and\ngrowing up in a non-diverse town, so I feel a special connection to that\ncommunity. I threw some boys in the weeds when I was in second grade because\nthey were bullying my brother. I truly feel a calling in his honor. I feel what\nit is like to announce to your family or the world you are gay- but once you do\nit\u2019s like walking on the yellow brick road to OZ. You make new friends to the\nend and discover so many possibilities to be who you are. No worries about my\nbrother, he made it out and he lives in a penthouse with his amazing life\npartner and their cat Bast. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other psychic subjects that pull at my heartstrings are psychic kids. I strongly feel another part of my purpose is to help parents understand their child is psychic. Sometimes parents call me about their child\u2019s path, and I truly enjoy helping the family with education and with connecting to Spirit for their greater good. I also enjoy helping new psychics develop their skills. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for\nbusiness questions–I love them! I\u2019m not great at exact numbers and I think\nthat is because numbers are like time. Even though mathematics is a universal\nlanguage, I also strongly believe once all of us understand that time is a\nhuman construct, and therefore, Spirit doesn\u2019t know time, we will advance\nfurther as a spiritual and enlightened race.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then\nthere are love timelines. In my opinion, we have to look at the bigger picture.\nI\u2019ve helped callers with love issues where their love interest wasn\u2019t ready for\ncommitment or love interests were married. I always put myself in their shoes\nbecause we cannot stop who we are naturally attracted to. Sometimes love flows\nand other times it\u2019s a struggle to understand why it isn\u2019t flowing or why we\nare feeling it. Love readings are like a puzzle and I need to have all the\npieces to see what the immediate outcome will look like. I also am not blind to\ntwists and turns based on human emotions when it comes to love because that\nnormally equates to free will. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One\nthing I have learned, and taught others is that love is imperfect–I\u2019m a 100%\nRogerian style psychic, (Empathy, Congruence, and Unconditional Positive\nRegard) is the key for me, call me a hippie \u2014if you like, I\u2019m good with that\nlabel. We have to love ourselves first with no ego to reach joy. In life, joy\nis the key that unlocks all doors. Aside from all the mushy details, an interesting thing about me is that I work with the dead. I am their voice to help tell their story and to heal the living. I didn\u2019t ask for this; it\u2019s a gift and a curse but I can\u2019t reverse it. I\u2019m in too deep and it\u2019s become my life\u2019s path. There are days when I sit in my s\u00e9ance room, light candles, and connect to the spirit realm while I take your calls. Those kinds of days are always super stellar, but it takes a lot of energy from my physical being, so afterward I need extra downtime to rest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another\nthing about me is, in 2017 I created a cat rescue foundation where I can take\nin unwanted kittens and cats, medically treat them, and place them with good\nhumans. As hard as I try to keep my cat rescues limited, they keep coming. So\nfar, I\u2019ve saved 29 cats! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
