In this week\u2019s Daily Focus, I want to talk about something that I,\nand so many others, struggle with. Letting go. Why is it so hard to move on?\nFrom relationships, sure, but also from work at the end of the day, from a good\nbook, from a house you only lived in for a year? What is happening within\nourselves that we struggle to let go? Why is the bad we know easier to accept\nthan the unknown, which may ultimately end up being better? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have always struggled with letting go, which also means I sometimes struggle with getting attached. I know the bittersweet ending that will come along, and I find myself asking\u2026 is it worth it? But if we hold ourselves back for fear of change, we will miss out on so many opportunities. For me, the key to finding balance here has been to embrace my sense of independence, to know that I am capable and strong on my own and that if others want to walk alongside me, they are welcome to. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
