Hello Fellow Seekers! The last several weeks have been a creative blur for me, which I will admit is a very new experience. I have always found a creative outlet in music and theatre but I have been enjoying finding new ways of expressing my creative nature. Though it has left me feeling like I need a few more hours in the day at times, I think I have learned more about myself thanks to these new pursuits.<\/p>\n
Do you have a favourite way of expressing yourself or to get your creative juices flowing? It always amazes me that even though there are many artistic pathways that people can follow, there are many similarities amongst artists and creators as far as the actual process is concerned.<\/p>\n
This month finds many people planning the decorating of their homes for the autumn and winter seasons, along with projects that they want to tackle once the weather makes staying inside far more appealing. In this week\u2019s Daily Focus, we are going to reflect on nurturing our artistic tendencies, and how through creating we learn about ourselves.<\/p>\n

It touches us in a way that very few things can, invoking memories and feelings that we sometimes think we have forgotten. It can also inspire and drive us \u2013 I\u2019m sure most of us have music that we put on to give us some pep when we are exercising or doing chores. Music taps into our deepest emotions and can make even the most stoic of humans cry and show their emotional depths. Do your musical tastes seem to change with your moods? They probably do. Embrace that creative energy and never be afraid to paint outside the lines. No matter what happened while he was painting, nothing was ever a mistake; he was always able to make it an integral part of the painting, making it even more beautiful than it was before. Life throws us challenges, changes, and surprises and we may make some mistakes along the way, but those mistakes are part of what makes you who you are. How could it possibly be a mistake? Start viewing those parts of your life as positive steps in helping you to grow into the amazing human being that you are and see the big picture.
