Hello fellow seekers, have you found yourself stuck recently? This week it felt as if every time I tried to get something moving or started, instead of getting anywhere I found myself stuck! I am one of those people who tends to have multiple projects going at any one time, mainly because if I hit a wall or issue with one, I can easily shift to another until I can make headway in the first again. Kind of like using lesser known roads to get around traffic. But even in my driving about this week, I kept hitting roadblocks, or flooding of the roads.<\/p>\n
It is so easy to lose focus or energy when we come upon obstacles that stop us in our tracks. It’s hard to even feel like trying to move forward when you can\u2019t figure out which direction to try next. In this week\u2019s Daily Focus, let\u2019s focus on trying to realize that being stuck is something that we can overcome and, if we are creative enough, we can find a way, and the energy to pull ourselves out of the stickiness.<\/p>\n

So what if it is? You made a step, a choice, you tried something new and learned from it. You learn more about who you are as a person, what you really want, and more importantly what doesn\u2019t work for you. Even the wrong path isn\u2019t necessarily a bad one; just not the right one right now. If you find yourself realizing that you have started down a path that isn\u2019t the right one for you, don\u2019t get down on yourself. I asked her if it makes it hard to get anything done with 4 different pen names and she said that in many ways it helps her, because if she is feeling blocked on one of the books, she switches to one of the other genres that she writes in, and that can give her perspective into how to get past whatever is blocking her. Changing our environment, even something as simple as where you are sitting, can make a major impact on our state of mind. So if \u2018writing\u2019 your life with that pen isn\u2019t working for you, grab a crayon, or a piece of chalk, or even a paintbrush! It\u2019s your life and you can write it in any medium you want. Today\u2019s words are Get Creative!<\/p>\n August 2<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cDo not wait until conditions are perfect to begin, beginning makes the conditions perfect.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n If we were to wait for everything to be perfect before we started anything, we would be waiting forever. There will always be a reason not to take that first step; why we shouldn\u2019t leave a job or relationship that no longer infuses our lives with joy, or to go back to school. But we should not allow familiarity to hold us back from reaching our full potential. We are in a new month and now is the perfect time to choose to make changes.
