I enjoy being a dog walker, but I feel like I should be doing more with my life. The problem is, I’m not sure what it is I should be doing. I’ve been looking for new jobs, but I don’t have a lot of the skills or the degrees they’re asking for. I also don’t have the money to go back to school. I’m worried if I get a loan, then I’ll be in debt for a long time while trying to pay it off.<\/i><\/p>\n
I was a dog groomer, but the boss reminded me of my step-mom, so I had to leave before my mental and emotional state got worse than it already is. Then, I worked at a doggy daycare\/boarding facility and everything was going great until it became more about money and less about the safety of the dogs and staff. Now I’m a dog walker. As I search for a new job, I fear people won’t accept me because I just have experience working with animals.
