For the past year and six months, I\u2019ve been dreaming about a classmate from high school. To make a long story short, he was interested in me during high school, but I was dating someone else and I eventually had a child. Fast forward 30 years, and I now have unresolved feelings for him. We\u2019ve spoken twice in the last two months, but nothing more has happened. I don\u2019t know what\u2019s going on and I don\u2019t know if he has romantic feelings for me like he did in high school. I live in Alabama and he lives in California. A huge part of me wants to share my life with him, but I\u2019m not sure it\u2019s possible. What do you see for us?<\/i><\/p>\n

Thank you for writing to me. This man has thought of you too, off and on over those 30 years. It\u2019s no accident that you\u2019ve been dreaming of him and having unresolved feelings, for the renewal of communication between you was divinely guided. There\u2019s a karmic energy here that indicates you two have something left to do together.<\/p>\n

While he manages to compartmentalize his feelings, he does feel that \u201csame old feeling\u201d for you he once did and also has unresolved feelings for you. Although you may be feeling more deeply for him, he still thinks of you as \u201cthe one who got away.\u201d<\/p>\n

It looks as though he was in a relationship that ended badly recently. He\u2019s still healing from those wounds. The distance is also a concern for both of you, but it looks like the two of you will be able to work out a way to be together, regardless.<\/p>\n

Your patience with him will pay off because he will try to arrange a meeting with you. He\u2019s hoping to do this between now and August. He will be happy to see how little you\u2019ve changed since your high school days. You are just as lovely now as you were then. He will look just as good to you. The difference will be that you\u2019ve both grown and matured in many ways, making a renewed relationship between you that much more gratifying.<\/p>\n

This relationship could slowly evolve into something more. Even though he has some fear about marriage, you can enjoy one another with or without a piece of paper. You deserve this happy reunion, Alicia, and I\u2019m happy for you.<\/p>\n
