My name is Scott and I was married to a woman named Tracy. During the first two years of our marriage, I worked at a deli. The next 12 years I was an oil rig worker. I love Tracy a lot, and I thought we would be together forever. But when the oil crash happened in 2015 I stopped trying to be an oil rig worker. Instead, I tried to get on Social Security. You see, I was hit by a van when I was 10 years old. Tracy went out and got a job of her own to bring money in.<\/i><\/p>\n

For the first month-and-a-half, Tracy would leave for work and come home from work at the same time every day. But then she started coming home late\u2014three or four hours later than she used to. Then when she finally got home she would ignore me or treat me poorly. We pretty much argued every night and when I tried to show her affection she pushed me away.<\/i><\/p>\n

Tracy divorced me, but I wonder if we\u2019ll get back together. Or, do you see me getting married to someone else? Our sons have been telling me that Tracy is running around with another guy, but Tracy says they\u2019re just friends. Should I believe her?<\/i><\/p>\n

I meditated on your situation and I saw an energy cycle that\u2019s 10 years long. It began during your time on the oil rig (around summer 2010) and will end around summer 2020. The romantic energy will come full circle\u2014from married to divorced, to engaged, and back to married again. I see you happily married to someone else in 2020.<\/p>\n

What your sons are saying is true. Tracy is spending time with another man. Tracy is fooling herself into believing that they are just friends. They haven\u2019t actually discussed any romantic future between them, thus making them \u201cjust friends\u201d in her mind. However, from what I saw in my meditation, they are more like \u201cfriends with benefits.\u201d Tracy knows the difference, so she isn’t being honest with you. She doesn\u2019t want to hurt you, though. She also doesn\u2019t want to face whatever conflicts could arise as a result of her relationship with this man. However, there is no justification for dishonesty\u2014especially in this case.<\/p>\n

I’m sorry to say it, but I feel such an imbalance in her energy that I don\u2019t think you\u2019d ever find peace in a relationship with her again. This is not your fault, Scott. This was going to happen whether you continued to work at the deli or on the oil rig.<\/p>\n

Your future wife will come into the picture late this year. Your kids will take to her like ducks to water. And when Tracy asks you about her, you can demonstrate the honesty that she could not.<\/p>\n
