Choices, Chances and Changes <\/b><\/h4>\n

The dictionary\u2019s definition of chance <\/i>is \u201cthe possibility of something happening for the better.\u201d Yet it also defines it as the potential of something happening to us without any decisions we ourselves have made. We seem to always anticipate the best, and fear the worst. But how do we know when taking a chance is going to bring us success, and when taking a chance is risky?<\/p>\n

Chance vs. Risk <\/b><\/p>\n

Often, taking a chance is essentially calculated risk! If we want to take a chance and find a better job or career, we begin to research companies, network, and also ask questions. We may explore new neighborhoods if we wish to move, or ask tenants at a new building how they like the management.<\/p>\n

Yet we still tend to resist change of any sort. We wonder if we are jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire. Maybe we will be worse off if we take a chance on change. Indeed we resist taking a chance, even when we are not happy with a situation or relationship. We may worry about never meeting someone we truly connect with. But not taking chances because of fear often leads to an unhappy and unfulfilled life.<\/p>\n

Life is made up of choices, chances and changes. You must make a choice to take a chance, or your life will never change. Life responds to your choices, and by saying \u201cI Choose!\u201d you allow for life to respond to you in ways that make you feel empowered about taking chances to succeed.<\/p>\n

Use your intuition. We all have it, but we need to focus on it to see and feel it. Our angelic guides are always there to guide us. We truly are spiritual beings having physical experiences and once we understand that, we can begin to feel whether taking a chance is just plain risky, or an essential part of our journey.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s normal to feel butterflies in our tummies when moving out of our comfort zone! But you need to be able to differentiate between fear and excitement. Take baby steps. Every step we take towards what feels right, is taking us to where we need to be for a chance that leads to positive changes.
