There are many who say that you are exactly where you are meant to be<\/strong><\/a>. While I agree with that statement to a certain degree, I think it’s really important to look at how you arrived at the exact moment where you are. You should look at the role you played rather than think you are here because it was predestined. Here’s what you need to know to live the life you want!<\/p>\n

Your Life is Based on Your Choices<\/strong><\/p>\n

Every situation you’ve been in has given you choices. Some choices put you in places that have made you happy, while other choices have made you unhappy. And when you’re unhappy, it’s really easy to place blame or responsibility on another source.\u00a0Sometimes it’s hard to accept that you are the creator of your future<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0but it does not have to be that way. Just because you get up every day and go to an unhappy job or feel stuck in a less-than-satisfying relationship or feel unfulfilled in life, it does not mean that you cannot change your situation. I’m not saying it’s always easy, but you do have the ability to change your life.<\/p>\n

Leaving Your Life to Chance<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you leave your life to chance, it’s is gamble, and one you should not be willing to take.\u00a0Are you holding on to situations that frustrate the very core of who you are? Are you waiting for a miracle? Are you hoping for someone else to change your path?<\/p>\n

Recently, I read a Mandy Hale (author of The Single Woman<\/em>) quote on Facebook: \u201cYou don\u2019t always need a plan. Sometimes you just need to breathe, trust, let go and see what happens.\u201d I agree with her, and I would add that sometimes you have to make things happen. No, you can’t control the actions of others, but you can control how happy you are in this life. You can make things happen!<\/p>\n

Living Someone Else’s Life<\/strong><\/p>\n

Are you living the life you want, or someone else’s expectation of what your life should be? Are you too busy trying to please others? Just like an oxygen mask on an airplane, you need to take care of yourself first before you can take care of others. Somewhere along the way people got the idea that they need to put everyone else before themselves, but you need to help yourself before you can help others.<\/p>\n

The First Step<\/strong><\/p>\n

Find a way to relax<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and accept that life is full of uncertainty and conflict. Learn to feel self-assured when faced with conflict and uncertainty. This is a true sign of an epic evolution within you and it’s a major step towards making your wishes, wants and desires happen!<\/p>\n

Ask yourself about your desires. Why do you have them? How do they align with who and what you are now? What are the current facts of your life? What do you need to change to get what you want? What will that change look and feel like. Imagine, in detail, the end result. Let you emotions feel success. Now give yourself permission to allow it to happen.<\/p>\n

Identify the Blocks<\/strong><\/p>\n

Identify the roadblocks to your success and address them head on. Make a plan and don’t let anything stand in your way! Know that everything and anything your want is available to you. You have multiple opportunities.\u00a0And, if you believe you are truly worthy of receiving what you want, then the only reason you don’t have what you want is the resistance you create by doubting yourself and by continuing to be unhappy.<\/p>\n
