Because yet another new challenger has appeared: Sonny, the Psychic Rugby Sheep, who makes <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.californiapsychics.com\/blog\/2010\/06\/psychic-octopus.html\/\">predictions<\/a><\/strong> on rugby matches based on eating hay bags with the flags of the competing teams on them.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.metro.co.uk\/sport\/oddballs\/875395-psychic-rugby-sheep-sonny-wool-takes-on-paul-the-octopus-mantle\">The Metro UK reports:<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Sonny, named after All Blacks centre\u00a0Sonny Bill Williams, makes his predictions by choosing to eat from one of a selection of hay bags bearing the national flags of each team playing in the 2012 Rugby World Cup.<\/p>\n<p>The new cult-hero successfully picked New Zealand to beat Tonga last Friday, much to the delight of the assembled Kiwi faithful.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>According to owner Dan Boyd, Sonny has always been a bit special on the family farm in rural Dannevirke.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;He&#8217;s the black sheep of the family. The other sheep don&#8217;t like him at all,&#8217; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;He hangs out and likes humans more. He also likes to predict when it\u2019s going to rain.
