So what does precognition really<\/em> mean?<\/p>\n

I’ve studied aspects of the bible, including the book of Prophets<\/em>. There are many stories about the gift of prophecy<\/a><\/strong> — loosely translated as an ability to see the future,\u00a0 a prophet is a “seer.” But prophecy is much more than a person who possesses that ability. Prophets often received messages in dreams, portending the future.<\/p>\n

They were spokesmen who conveyed those messages or teachings on Spirit’s behalf. Prophets were role models.\u00a0 They set standards for entire communities. Psychics<\/strong><\/a> convey messages to individuals, much in the same way prophets do — but on a smaller scale for the most part. So how does precognition fit in? <\/p>\n

Precognition is a talent prophets and psychics possess. Often, people with precognition have visions of things that are going to happen without knowing details like where an event will take place or who it will effect. Depending on the type of information received,\u00a0 big picture predictions\/visions can occur.<\/p>\n

Did you know you too can begin to develop this skill? It’s not hard! If you start to pay more attention to your own predictions, rather than immediately discounting or discrediting them, you can begin to test your skills. Over time, you’ll be able to discern imaginings of what you want to happen in the future from truly psychic thoughts.<\/p>\n

Also, really pay attention to your dreams<\/strong><\/a>, too. Since they’re not affected by conscious thoughts, they can be a breeding ground for pure psychic information\/messages about the future.<\/p>\n

Nostradamus<\/strong><\/a> is an example of someone with precognitive powers. (We share the same birthday, too!)<\/p>\n
